Today, for fun, I decided to dry the pepper. I had only two peppers, but my own.
The variety is different. one, paprika is round, thick-walled, and the second is long, thin-walled.
I liked the round one. Delicious even when dried. Long, one skin remained.
In general, I am satisfied with the result.

L'equip IR-D5 infrared dehydrator

Sun-dried tomatoes. Without removing seeds and juice. The "automatic-sun" mode. 11 hours have passed in time. Spotted on purpose.
In the photo, the tomatoes are already filled with oil, I forgot to take a picture right away, but I think you can see what they are. the variety was the same as on the dried ones, see above. If we want to get dried tomatoes, then we remove the seeds and juice, and if they are dried, then we leave them.
It turned out very tasty.

I will not present a separate recipe. There's no point. Simple, as an idea, for drying pastilles, without paper and other unnecessary gestures. Thank you Irshe- Irina for the idea.
Silicone molds for biscuit. 30 * 27 * 0.9
Very comfortably. But it takes longer to dry than on paper. Leaving in the form after the end of the process is undesirable. Since the dried layer begins to "cry". It took me 12 hours. Until two in the morning there was no strength to sit and wait, left to work, in the morning I received a "tear-stained marshmallow". Dried at 40 degrees on the "shadow" function. And so it is standard. 65 degrees "sun" -12 hours. 4.5 ladles per pallet.
The banana was added at the last moment to the mashed potatoes.

Thank you very much for such detailed descriptions. A very interesting dryer! I almost want one already)
I wonder if she is better than Isidri or not?
Isidri dries remarkably, but it is not very convenient that it is round and therefore takes up a lot of space. And probably, in a rectangular marshmallow, it will be visually more beautiful

If you compare with the round, inexpensive, which I had, then there is no comparison. But it all depends on the scale of drying the products. In Isidri, as I understand it, you can dry a lot at a time. Everything here is limited to five pallets. But I don't dry a lot, just "for food".
But if I were offered a choice, the best round one and this one, then I would not hesitate to choose all L'equip.

Galina, thanks for the answer))
On an industrial scale, a dryer is rarely needed, but it still happens.
In general, you need to think)))

In manual mode, if only to dry. change the mode to shadow.
Bananas Peel and cut into 3 mm thick slices. 7-9 Must be tough.
But they can, purely theoretically, from the air still become mianki. try it. You have nothing to lose.
Lessika
Thank you so much!
I'll try a shadow. And in manual mode, what should be the temperature?
I watch the videos - potato chips should turn out too, straight crispy!

humidity and room temperature.
Your manual should be in Russian if you bought it not in Korea or Germany. The company supplies these dryers to the Russian Federation with instructions in Russian

There will be the second reference point to - static-internal this is the entire instruction.
The temperature is written in front of each table. And the shade or the sun, it's up to you. I dry everything in the Sun, except for Belevskaya marshmallow. its only on the Shadow function.

Good evening!
Please, tell me, at what temperature did you do it? And were the sheets smeared? What is the height of the mashed potatoes?
I greased the sheets with olive oil, baked at 55 ° sun, everything stuck! Dead!
Sheets are special for marshmallow, small, low.

Also bananas and melons - they stick and that's it
I just can't dry without problems. What is the secret then? Ba6any on a wire rack, melon on silicone sheets.
Help!

Quote: Lessika
And were the sheets smeared?
I never grease with anything. I think this is superfluous. If it does not come off, then moisten the paper with water and everything can be removed perfectly.
Quote: Lessika
What is the height of the mashed potatoes?
It cannot be made high in these pallets. If memory serves, then 4 ladles per pallet. Lightly hit the pallet with the mass on the table or scroll it a couple of times so that the mass is evenly distributed.
But I always make only boiled puree.
Quote: Lessika

There are no such pallets in my dryer and there never were.

In temperature it is possible. Incorrectly set temperature and time is short .. Dry on silicone sheets. Two of these were attached to my dryer. Everything goes fine.
If you have the same dryer as mine, ie L'equip IR-D5 Infrared Dehydrator, then the instructions indicate the time and temperature.
Lessika
Thanks for the answer!
Yes, the drying is the same.
You write the sun 5.5 hours. And the temperature? Remember?

Well, you need to dry bananas on them.
And still pour the pastille on baking paper. Well, either buy silicone trays, everything will be smooth, and such a candy can be removed without problems.

Lessika
Thank you again!
I will definitely buy silicone pallets.

Bananas also stick to silicone ones. It is necessary to turn over after 2 hours, then it is normal. Otherwise - under water only then to tear it off. I can’t accept the need to turn it over :)) for so long. And wrong :) it shouldn't be the same :))
Melon stuck too
gawala
Well, if this link helps, but there the people could not do anything either.

I use the ironing net in all my dryers for fine cutting, or for sticky products.
Pasta machine Philips HR2355 / 09 # 6684 = very effective, even if some particularly sugar-containing products stick to the net, the net is easily detached.
It is very comfortable.

Try placing a Teflon rug under a thin pastille, cutting it to fit the pallet - it does not stick to it.
Or baking paper, according to the experience of many forum users, if it sticks, then it separates when moistened.
Lessika
Thank you!
I will try:)

The truth is that any thermal radiation - infrared. Even an incandescent lamp, even any teng, even the heat of a stove or fireplace ...
Remember, back in the middle of the twentieth century, quartz heaters were common in everyday life. They got their name for the heat source installed in them - a tungsten filament sealed in a quartz glass tube. Now they are called infrared heaters ...
