Spinach pesto

Ingredients

Goat cheese (can be parmesan or gran padano) 50 g
Fresh spinach 100 g
Garlic 2 teeth
Pine nuts 40 g
Olive oil 80-100 g
Salt pepper

Cooking method

  • Finely chop the cheese in a food processor / blender. Add spinach leaves and puree everything. Add garlic, pine nuts, salt to taste and chop even more. Spice up.
  • Pour in the olive oil little by little and continue whisking until the consistency you want.

Note

I usually make classic pesto, but I tried it with spinach and I can say that it turned out pretty good. A good replacement for the classic.

Everything is almost the same, but with basil. I saw a recipe with spinach, I decided to try it ... I did not disappoint! It is also delicious .. You can dilute the spinach with parsley. And to the pasta!

Katya, and you can replace pine nuts with walnuts, and almost without prejudice to the taste ... I did this more than once ... Cedar nuts are expensive ... And with basil - yes, the coolest ... Sometimes I dilute it slightly with parsley ... Just as tasty .. I love pasta with this sauce ...
