Ingredients

Fresh moss / forest mushrooms
bulb onions
salt
pepper

Cooking method

  • Clean the mushrooms from coarse debris, wipe thoroughly with a damp cloth. The flywheel is a very juicy mushroom, so I try not to expose it to water procedures again. Cut the mushrooms into slices, put in a cold frying pan with a thick bottom. Peel the onion and cut into a quarter into rings, put on the mushrooms, salt and pepper, add vegetable oil. Stir. Cover the pan with a lid and simmer over low heat, stirring occasionally, ~ 40 minutes, the mushrooms should give a lot of juice. At the end of cooking, taste with salt, add salt if necessary.
  • You can add the desired spices, herbs, but we prefer the natural taste.
  • Ready-made mushrooms can be used as a sauce for pasta and noodles, as an independent side dish, or as a cold appetizer.
