Vacation multicooker

On vacation with the Philips Multicooker 3060 (tips, recipes, exchange of experience)From Europe to Asia (rally with a multicooker Redmond MRC -01)
(Mar_k)

Multicooker for car travel

However given The temka will be slightly different and, I hope, will benefit the owners of the small Philips 3060 Multicooker (Filechki, as we affectionately call it).
The fact is that the topic about this Multicooker has collected a lot of useful advice from girls already traveling with this cartoon.
And advice from Thani-Fani simply invaluable so detailedthat we all began to ask Temka to create it separate Temko, so that the material would not get lost.
However, for some reason Tanechka cannot now, and she asked me to create this Temka.
And I respect Tanechka very much, I love Filechka very much and now I have free time!
Therefore, I took up this work!
So let's go!

1. Here are golden words from Tanyusha ~ Tani-Fani:

"You will succeed, because you think it over in advance. Menu planning is the key to success in this type of vacation :-)"

..... and further:

"About utensils:
1. The hotel will have a tiny refrigerator, probably built into the table. It is impossible to fill it with food. Put a saucepan - it won't fit, etc. It has a roomy vegetable dish and a deep square shelf for eggs on the door. Therefore, you need to take with you small flat containers in which you can store finished products.
2. For Filka you need to take:
- silicone ladle;
- silicone spatula;
- silicone brush;
- instead of your own glass yoghurt cups, pick up a pot-bellied glass jar with a screw cap. So, instead of 300 ml of yogurt, there will be 500 ml at once.
3.cutting board
4.knives
5. a bag of spices (black pepper, red paprika, ...) and for sweet pastries (vanilla, baking powder).
6. Russian table mustard (i.e. not spicy) in soft packaging with a spout - for any meat and poultry;
7.Ketchup in soft packaging with a spout - for borscht, chakhokhbili, makaroshek
(flat soft packages fit well in refrigerator doors);
8. a roll of foil (cover the jar while making yogurt instead of the original lid, otherwise the Filka will not close), as well as wrap some finished products in foil;
9.Roll of plastic bags
10. vegetable (olive) oil, suitable for salads and for frying - a small plastic bottle (if it runs out, you can always buy it on the spot);
11. I pour (so as not to drag a whole pack) 2 cups of semolina or a bag of 500 grams of potato starch - this is for casseroles (curd, fish, vegetable);
12. I sprinkle some cereals for a side dish on the first day, while looking around where the shops are. (buckwheat, couscous, pearl barley);
13. a few bubbles with Evitalia (they go in a cooler bag).
add who will remember what: -))))))))) ...
14. Vegetable set for soup and generally for the first day: 1 kg of potatoes, 2-3 carrots, 2-3 onions, 2-3 beets;
15.small pasta for chicken soup
16.packet of 1 kg flour
17. a small metal saucepan with a lid. It is convenient to pour or shift a hot dish into it to prepare the next one.
18.sack of UHT milk

As you approach the hotel, it is advisable to stop near a grocery store (stretch the legs and back) and buy:
eggs, sour cream, milk, butter, cheese, two or three chicken thighs :-)

On the road, I put one (two) flat containers in a refrigerator bag with frozen briquettes. In containers prepared on the night before Christmas departure a ready-made dinner called "Piano in the Bushes", which I will feed immediately upon arrival. Because as soon as THEY (crocodile men) enter the room, "Hurray! You can relax and eat well!" They are tired after the long journey ... While they are in the shower, Filka works with a self-assembled tablecloth and warms up the "Piano in the Bushes".
This is either rice or buckwheat, cooked only in water with salt. No oil! It is better stored this way, especially if the heat is outside.
Chicken baked and wrapped in foil.
She waved her left sleeve - it became a lake, waved her right sleeve - white swans swam across the lake.
Filka on "Manual" 120 degrees, drip the oil, as soon as the oil hissed, put the chicken down, on top of the rice. Dinner is on the table!

In Filka, soup is obtained for 4 adults. We arrived, you are tired, and tomorrow you will rest and walk. Therefore, we throw two or three chicken thighs into the Filkin bowl, while cutting each in half. Fill with water. Plus an onion, carrot, salt, paprika.
"Porridge" mode 1 hour. Turn off heating! And you can sleep, rest after a long journey.
For the opportunity to turn off the automatic heating, I separately love Phil!
So, we boiled the broth for 2 days. On the first day, we will pour, heat and fill. And when we take the remaining broth on the second day and it seems that it is not enough, do not be upset! Broth in a bowl of Fillets, add boiling water from the kettle, everything boils together, season with vegetables or pasta and at the end add a generous piece of butter. The most fragrant soup at the exit!

Similarly, if the time to cook the soup is 15 minutes, but there is no broth:
on "Manual" 120 gr
in a bowl of vegetable oil, squirt, there onions, carrots, cabbage or peas from a can, stir with a spatula, pour boiling water from a kettle. The soup boils a couple of minutes in a closed fillet. Add a generous piece of oil drain, dill, parsley and turn off the FILA.
The soup comes out while everyone is washing their hands. Serve sour cream to such an empty one (he is without crumbling) :-)
Menu for 1 full day of rest:
Breakfast:
omelet (5 eggs + milk. Brush the bowl with a thin silicone brush with rast butter, "Manual" 120 g for about 10 minutes, that is, it is first heated, then baked. Pour in the omelet mixture after the butter fizzes)
a fresh vegetable salad
cheese sandwich
some of the family's favorite foods
Tea, coffee with the pastries that came with you from home (muffins, cookies)

Dinner:
vegetable salad
Chicken soup (broth was cooked at night :-) with boiled chicken
(in Fillet we quickly heat the broth on "Porridge", add small macaros and turn them off. They reach, otherwise they will boil).
tea, coffee with pastries
(Here we take half of the broth, and the other half will go the next day).

Dinner:
Vegetable, fish, chicken casserole ..
Or sausages with rice (buckwheat), which is still in the refrigerator.

We do casseroles like this: fry onion rings, carrot cubes, pieces of bell pepper or zucchini (potato) cubes, put it in a bowl (container), there are small pieces of thawed fish (cod, pollock, haddock) or finely chopped one chicken fillet, 1 egg for a bundle. Mayonnaise can be added (if accepted in the family). If the cheese was not very tasty, then in these very casseroles it is very good. We didn’t take a grater, so it’s a little bit. Mixed with a fork.
If with fish, you can add a spoonful of ketchup for color and flavor.
If with chicken, then add dining mustard, it breaks the protein and the chicken is softer with it.
Now for their universal unity of the same semolina or potato starch, add 1 tablespoon and mix. If it is liquid, then a little more manochka (starch), if not very liquid, then it is normal, nothing is needed, semolina (starch) will still take in liquid during the baking process.
"Manual" 120 g or "Cupcake", but I somehow got used to the manual mode. Warm up the bowl (this is very fast), grease it with butter, it hissed and our mixture goes there.

The bottom line is that there should always be something ready in the refrigerator. Soup broth or ready-made meat dish, because.we can only cook one thing. As a result, we warm up something, and cook something fresh. Filk is one! :-)

Business by night, what to feed tomorrow?
After all, tomorrow I want to walk and relax ...
We cook something meaty, for example pilaf with chicken or meat, or we stew meat with potatoes. The girls above have already shared the recipes. While stewing, prepare the mixture for the curd casserole. I really like Shapoklyak Curd Souffle. She laid it out as a separate recipe for our Fili.
Transfer the finished meat dish to the pan, let it come under the lid.
I washed the bowl, in it the dough for the cottage cheese casserole. The main thing is not to forget to turn off the auto-heating! Let it bake, and we sleep.

In the morning, if I wake up early, I will put the casserole in a container and in the refrigerator, and for breakfast I will cook porridge. If I oversleep, this casserole is for breakfast.

Everything can be left to stew or bake, for example, after dinner. Everyone ate while they were thinking about where to go, or when they lay down with a 6-year-old to read a book for 20 minutes, we set to cook dinner, but only that which probably won't run away. We’ll go for a walk!

About chicken parts: I don’t take the legs, they’re healthy for Filka, but I cut the thighs in half.
Chicken chakhokhbili:
pieces of thighs on "Manual" on 120 gr put to fry with the lid closed, at this time chopped onions and added to the bowl. They squirt, and we make the sauce. 2 glasses of water, 2-3 generous tablespoons with a top of tomato paste, salt, spices, 1-2 tablespoons of vodka (don't be afraid! It will all evaporate!). Or, instead of pasta, Krasnodar sauce and spices are no longer needed.
She stirred the chicken, lightly browned and poured the sauce to cover the chicken. Simmer on "Porridge" for 25 minutes. Disable auto heating in advance. Until your return from a walk in the closed Filka it will be infused wonderfully.
Serve with rice or buckwheat (they are in our refrigerator).

If the cub does not want or does not like it with tomato, then roll chicken pieces, or better, roll chicken fillet cubes in the dining room mustard. On fillets from one breast, no more than 2 teaspoons of mustard. Plus salt. Put everything in Filkina's bowl and simmer on porridge for 30 minutes without frying. If without your control, then to the bottom of the water.

Chicken casserole. We prepare it under control. I did not try to leave it to bake uncontrollably.
Children love ministerial chicken cutlets. We are on vacation, we have no time for cutlets. Therefore, we will have a casserole of the same name.
2 Chicken fillets finely cut (like a cucumber on a Olivier)
Small, small cubes zucchini or potatoes
small onions - medium head
2 eggs
salt, paprika
1 tsp mustard
1 tbsp mayonnaise
mix.
Bring the starch to a state of combining into a dough so that you can form cutlets with your hands.
This dough is great for 2 days in a closed container in the refrigerator !!!

"Cupcake" or "Manual" 120 gr. Thoroughly grease the bowl with rast oil. As it zashkvoritsya, lay out our dough and level.
Sprinkle with cheese on top.

Remember that in the heat, fish casserole with the addition of tomato tastes better when cold than when heated. therefore it can be made in advance and served cold. But fish dishes are stored no more than a day and be sure in your refrigerator! There is a wheel, I usually twist it "

I will continue to post here tips and links from the girls from our Temka about baby Phillips, however, I think that ready-made valuable tips about cooking in other multicookies will NEVER be superfluous!
Welcome all positive-minded people to this Temko!
Py Si: I urge you, as far as possible, to refrain from unnecessary flooding, and to post here only useful tips and ideas about recipes and cooking technologies while away from home, on the road, as well as useful tools and accessories for this purpose.
In order not to clog the Temka!
Hope for understanding!
Regards mamusi.

vegetable (olive) oil
Rit, I'm sorry, I can't walk by, what's the olive oil?

And also a list of products for the wilderness, no shops at all. Why carry flour or milk with you? No, well, if in a car, then it is understandable, but if by plane or train.
mamusi
Sedne, Light, more attentively
I copied Tanya ~ Fani's words. Why would I have anything in them change?
This is her version, her vision.
Let's be respectful!
The man posted a lot of useful material. Are we going to cling to little things?
Or where?
Or gain benefit, Sveta?
Well what you mean: yes, olive oil is vegetable too. Tanya didn't mean it. And only that in its version it was Olive. And in your case, the option will be yours.
About the terrain: terrain, Sveta, there are DIFFERENT!
And let's not be here yet debate and criticism direct, well Please !!!! This is not why I opened Temka.
Just once, huh?
And we will read and write useful tips!
Sedne
mamusi, Rit, no, not criticism, I just wanted to note that when traveling by train or plane, you don't need to take so much food, this is not a nit-picking, but advice, since you can't put all this in a suitcase, but on an airplane there is a limit per kg of luggage and traveling with a bunch of bags is extremely inconvenient. All this can be bought, except for yoghurt starter cultures, which is a problem in many places.
Omka
mamusi,
Thank you for taking on this work!
I was just one of those who asked for a separate Temka, so I will briefly report on my experience.
Initially, I bought Filia just for travel, which, however, did not prevent him from firmly settling on my countertop the rest of the time.
So, the initial data: in the warmer months, on average, once or twice a month we leave for two or three days by car to other cities for tournaments. These are the same places from year to year, so we already know everything: where to live, what to eat, where to buy ... three of us go - me, my husband and a picky seven-year-old child. On our car, we take proven products from home to the maximum.
This year we also traveled for two weeks across the Smolensk-Oryol-Tula land, also with Filia.
Actually, the multicooker fulfilled its mission at 5, allowing me to feed my family like at home in foreign places.
What I cooked:
Rice milk porridge, buckwheat in milk
Rice for a side dish, buckwheat for a side dish
Macaroni and cheese, macaroni and sausages - super fast travel option two in one
Canned fish soup
Hard boiled eggs, fried eggs, omelet
Charlotte
Boiled potatoes, also mashed them
Warming up milk for a child before bedtime, warming up ready-made meat taken from home

These are all very simple things, they don't even need recipes as such, kmk, but it helped me a lot in organizing our everyday life outside the home. And the budget allows you to save money, let's face it.
I will say one thing, on our last trip it so happened that after the game we returned not at 8, but at the beginning of the 11th ... terribly tired, hungry, and the next day we got up at six to pack up, give the keys to the apartment before the start of the games, and then immediately to Moscow ... and now we crawl into the kitchen, and there buckwheat on heating has been waiting for three hours
I'm not a fan of buckwheat, but how did Filya help us out that day?

If you need to describe something in more detail, by number and modes, I will add
mamusi
Olga, thanks for your story! A start.
Very useful information!
But when the time comes and the desire arises, please lay out the nuances of cooking. It is the technology of cooking "outside the home", the selection of products, little tricks.

Will wait.
Quote: Omka
we take proven products from home to the maximum.
So I think that's right!
Upon arrival in a foreign city, you do not always have the time and energy to go looking for a product store! What if a child (go adult) got sick on the road !?
His sumarek with a set of products will help out on the first evening, night, day.
And then ~ will howl to look around ...
Omka
mamusi,
From the nuances: at home I measure out the groats in portions - at a time, pour them into small bags, tie them and take them with me.
Separately, there is a set of utensils - silicone ladle, spatula and spoon, folding whisk, plastic dishes. Small liter kettle. Potholders, boards, spices. I use a cooler bag, in 8-10 hours the products arrive perfectly even in summer. For the first dinner I bring ready-made frozen meat from home - chops, cutlets, whatever ... in half an hour you can make a side dish or salad - and dinner is ready. And meat perfectly plays the role of an additional ice element)))
Oh, I remembered from the important thing - a tee-extension cord - there may not be the required number of outlets in a foreign place.
On short trips, I make up an accurate menu for all days and take groceries according to the count (plus a spare portion of buckwheat)
mamusi
Olga, Very useful "nuances", we are going with my husband on vacation.
Were in 2015 in Krasnaya Polyana. Autumn. Silence, hotels are half empty, climbed over the mountains. Every day there is a sauna, a swimming pool at the hotel. Excellent breakfast at the hotel. But: it would be better if there was a slow cooker, because in the evening after hiking we were hungry and tired to go somewhere (we love outdoor activities) and do not like restaurants and the crowd of idly relaxing, so we had a bad time. Downstairs they bought an Ossetian pie, went up to the Gorki Panorama hotel on the funicular ... and everyone drank tea. It's a shame, but the restaurant at the hotel did NOT work for its tenants ~ they did not feed dinner even for money.
If we go this year ~ I'll take a multicooker by train!
And I will use all the advice!
Omka
mamusi,
That's it, we, too, in the evening often lack the strength and desire to eat somewhere, and the child gets tired, he goes to bed early. And then you prepared everything in advance, you come, and the food in the room is warm, fresh ... I think.
We also take or buy more paper towels on the spot, a table-pedestal-window sill - what will be in the room - we cover with a disposable tablecloth and we feel at home in any hotel or rented apartment.
In 2 weeks we are going to Smolensk, I can post a detailed replrtazh about fees and food)))
mamusi

I would like to!
Useful ...
For this and Temka!
Omka
mamusi, agreed
mamusi
Let's go on vacation and ... I'm analyzing what to eat in the evenings. In our beloved hotel in the mountains!
Breakfast is included there ~ Buffet. Normal breakfast. You can choose for every taste. And you trawl lunch and dinner yourself.
We have not found our favorite place for dinner. Wild road!
I will take Panasik (or Filia) to cook "two" ~ cereals and chicken (meat) in a steam basket.
Well, I'm picking up some kind of cake for tea. To shake, pour, get a biscuit. And sitting in a Chaise lounge, descendants with delicious (drink homemade tea.)
Here we collect advice with the girls. Anyone who has a useful experience, please share.
For example, if someone went with Panasik, what did you cook. So that it is not troublesome, satisfying and not too "fried" ... The hotel, after all. Strong odors are undesirable.
Tanya-Fanya
mamusi, Rituyla!

You found my "madman's notes" about rest with a cartoon- :)))))

Yes, I wrote this exclusively for a trip by car.

For dinner we cook:
- curd soufflé / casserole. Grease the bottom of the plum with butter, fan the apple slices, add a mass on top (cottage cheese, semolina, eggs, etc.). I love the recipe for curd soufflé for baby Philips 3060 from Shapoklyak;
- chicken pilaf;
- stewed potatoes with chicken or stew (if you eat It);
- vegetable casseroles such as cauliflower or zucchini, pour over an omelette and sprinkle with cheese;
- beef stew or beef stroganoff;

Tell me, what kind of products can you buy? Is there a supermarket nearby? Is there a refrigerator in the room?

Khachapuri fast in a different manner in a contact grill VVK
This is vaaasche a lifesaver from Schumacher. I never stop sending her thanks
First, this rate is exactly 2 cakes in a little Philips.
Secondly, you mix everything just with a fork in the morning, leave it in the refrigerator, and in the evening half in Filya on manual mode seems 110 grams for 10 minutes on each side (I don't remember exactly).

Ritulya, and the simplest pie now in the fall will be apple charlotte.

Your Laharinoza seems to me to be great once every two days, read two dinners.

Rituyla.
After all, you are going to go alone without children. Think about whether you should take two multi? You are going to rest, not cook. And yet - how can you plug in two multipliers at once, will the wiring in the hotel withstand? Will there be no problems? Also a kettle ...
I vaaasche hide the cartoon in the hotel, suddenly they come, see and banned.
Omka
mamusi,
I would take Filia, he is faster, kmk. Well, the timer is our everything, especially on vacation. I say this, having the experience of traveling with Panasiks 18 and 10, if that. Maybe you have some other.

Check out the rice and cottage cheese casserole; there is a recipe for Fili.
I baked an ordinary charlotte, it was very nice. Another pie like this, it's so without eggs - it can be problematic to buy and store the whole ten.
I made such a pie in Fillet
On vacation with the Philips Multicooker 3060 (tips, recipes, exchange of experience)
Based on this recipe
https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=290237.0
only instead of apples there was frozen raspberries

And cottage cheese cake according to Natasha Chuchelka's recipe
mamusi
Girls, you are ~ lovely.
I read everything! I wrote it all down!
We are going together with my husband. Take a break from everything and climb the mountains. Breathe. We usually eat very simple food. Pasta sprinkled with cheese will be arranged for us for dinner, delicious fresh tea and raspberry pie ~ generally super. Breakfast will be there. I'm still going after about 10 days.
I will have time to prepare, think it over, consult with you and ask everything

And yes, Tanyush, a hotel of such a plan that we will hide the Multiu. Include only with us. Otherwise the maids will "hand over" us. We are 20 minutes. enough to make an omelet or macaroons. Or simple soup! .. The main thing is ~ ideas.
The Crossroads shop is downstairs ~ take the funicular! We will take our fruits and vegetables in containers with us.
We will not be lost!)))
Omka
mamusi,
I like fish soup in Fillet - a can of pink salmon, a couple of potatoes, carrots, a pinch of rice, spices. Manual 100, 1 hour
Or else, we did something like a salad or "spreads" for sandwiches - two hard-boiled eggs, grated cheese, all the same salmon (or tuna) and a little mineza ... and for bread
mamusi
Omka, Olya, both advice, super!)))
This is what he will definitely eat!
And we love spreading at home.
I do it with cottage cheese, fresh. cucumber and her false mayonnaise. Greens there. It takes 6 hours to get to the place. On the first day I can take something ready! ..
And immediately upon arrival ~ soup and toasts are hot in the Multika. Yes with a spread!
And for dinner, chicken in foil from home (warm it up in Filka), as Tanya-Fanya advises. Super!
Omka
mamusi, Rita,
even if you buy chicken breast there, you can boil broth, and from chicken, too, like salad - cheese, walnuts plus prunes, the cucumber is still fresh there, a spoonful of mayonnaise. It turns out very satisfying, sometimes it is important - climbing the mountains will come in handy
In general, do not forget dried fruits - both as an independent food, and in baked goods, you can always add it.
I advise you to rub the cheese at home and freeze it, and take it with you in this form, so it will definitely get there.
And the chicken can also be frozen.

Today I will fry the chops, three pieces at once into the freezer - on Friday we will take with us - we will have dinner in Smolensk upon arrival.
mamusi
Quote: Omka
I'm going to fry the chops tonight
By the way, yes. Here I am silly. (I saw the brain for joy does not work))) I’m thinking about how to bring frozen chops (2pcs) and put it there (yes the smell, yes the smoke in the room!)
And you can ALREADY fried to freeze... And in Filka, just warm it up later! Olya, you put my brains in place. Now I will think in a different direction ...
anna_k
And I'll sit in this Temko.
A week later I leave with my child for Abkhazia, my Phillips stayed there.
The house has a kitchen, but I completely forgot how to cook on the stove.
A relative who lives there permanently will also cook.
But in general, both of us are lazy, so we will look for non-blemish options
With food there is also peculiar, eggs and milk there are cool, but the meat is mostly frozen. But the bakery products are awesome.

I don’t remember how to cook porridge in Phillips. I remember that there were dances with tambourines, and I don't know how it ended. At home I cook porridge in a micr.
Omka
Anya,
Rita and I cook porridge in manual mode and are happy.
What kind of porridge will we remember together?
I cook corn, rice, buckwheat. I put everything on half milk in the evening on the timer.
mamusi
Anya, I cook daily Hercules (large) 1 mstk of cereal + 4 mstk of water (or water mixed in half with milk), a pinch of salt.
Manual mode, 90º, 30 min. Delay of 4 hours. Better on the water in summer. From the evening (from the night). I bet anytime ~ it doesn't matter.
It will cook and go to Heating. In the morning porridge as I like. Let us sweet and put the butter on the plate. And she will wait for you no matter how long you get up. The son leaves for work first, has breakfast at 6.30 am. I am later at 9.00. Porridge is waiting for me warm. And everything is ok.
Trishka
What an interesting topic, and I'll go mustache ...
Olekma
I'll listen here.
Trishka
And I thought something else, because at home you can cook homemade stew, put it in portioned boxes, I fold from the cottage cheese, and freeze it, they will go perfectly in a bag - refrigerator, and ready meat is always at hand either for the first or for the second.
But, this is provided that there is a refrigerator with a freezer in the room!
Tanya-Fanya

I do not freeze. For 6 hours of the journey, nothing happens to them. Before leaving, I take it out of the refrigerator and wrap each or two or three things in foil. She holds. And if you put it in a refrigerator bag, everything will be great!

It is good for the first days to take meat baked with a whole piece of boiled pork from home. Only you need to bake "simply", that is, without sauces and mayonnaise. Meat, salt, pepper, herbs. You take it in foil, it arrives perfectly, you will eat for another two days. Moreover, you are going in September, there is no heat anymore.
But cutlets with onions, pieces of meat or chicken with bones can quickly deteriorate. There are enough of them for the road, but on arrival it is better to throw them away.
Rituyla, do you understand the difference? Or did I explain it poorly?
Omka
Tatyana,
Why don't you freeze? Then surely you will take it in normal form?
mamusi

Rituyla, do you understand the difference? Or did I explain it poorly?
What's the difference, Tan?

Yes, I will not carry raw. It is clear. Only fried or baked. That is, finished. On the first evening. Then I will orient myself. There is a Perekrestok store there. Buy.
Or, most likely. I will take 2-3 cans of billets from home ~ Beef stew. Its.
Vegetables, tomatoes, cucumbers. Grapes. Dried fruits (I love to gnaw)))
Because it is from the garden. so as not to buy who knows whose.
We are adults. No kids. It's easier for us. My husband is this type: he does not eat casseroles ANY. Biscuits NO ...
It's easier for me. Only loves cheesecakes. I'll cook them up in a multi-baker.
Him boiled or baked potatoes. Pasta with cheese. Rice is simple. Stew the meat in Filka. Or a couple. I'll take a steamer from Radish 02. Well, Omelet. And that's all. Tea, biscuits.
Fish soup. Lean bean soup. Canned beans.
Such are the plans ...
And we'll see.
We don't eat on the road. Let's wait 6 hours. We just drink water. There are no kids. We'll have breakfast at home. At the hotel we will have lunch with what we bring with us. And I'll cook dinner ...
Quote: Omka
why don't you freeze? Then surely you will take it in normal form?
I will. I'll fire two or three chops at home and freeze them. I will warm up at the hotel in Filka. we won't run straight to the store.

Here is the problem Of bread worries me.
Accustomed to home. Shop, especially from the Supermarket do not want.

Quote: Trishka

Ksyusha, we definitely won't have a freezer. Just a little fridge under the table.
You can buy meat or chicken breasts at the supermarket. And you can do without meat for a day. That is, we may well eat meat NOT every day. Especially considering that the breakfast will be at the Hotel, it is normal there. The choice of food is great.

We are going for a WEEK.
It's easier for us. We can't do more. The husband cannot for work. I don't leave the house for a long time. Can not. This is our biggest vacation ever. A week!!!

For bread, I propose the following strategic plan:
On the morning of departure, you put an XL loaf in the HP. For two or three days you have enough
Then you start from breakfast, and if the bread is not delicious, can the Multi-Baker help you bake something like pancakes or flat cakes?

Multibaker
I think he can.
Of course I will take Bread from home! By itself.
And I can bake it in the film. If you feel like it. Bread without Kneading. You put flour + water with dry yeast overnight. Just mix with a spoon. In the morning you dump the dough into the bowl. You bite. 30+ 30 with a coup. I did it at home.
The trouble is in my husband! He scolds me that I, allegedly, am not going to REST, BUT TO WORK!

I will always take dry yeast and two glasses of flour. Not prevent.

you are stealing from breakfast
I like it!!!
There are such small bagels for breakfast. 2-3 can always be taken.

subscribe to Temka! there are many interesting things. But .. a little I don’t have Fili, they don’t make them for Europe, unfortunately ... and I’ll hardly cook on vacation.
Omka
So, the problem with bread was solved ...
Men, they are so strange. Every time my husband cannot understand why he goes on a business trip with a carry-on bag, and the three of us are going to a tournament for three days with a full trunk ... a paradox ... he doesn't need anything ... And Filya , groceries, first aid kit and so on - this is what I need exclusively
mamusi
Olga,
We're already without children. Children are quite adults. And you have a baby boy.
And we have already become easier on the menu.
On the one hand, it's easy with my husband:
1. He cooks well himself. Some dishes are better than me.
2. He only eats very simple foods. "Unbroken," as he says.
(When I want to serve him something "squeezed", I just smile sweetly and do not eat.
He will go and make himself an omelet.
So that...

Why don't you freeze? Then surely you will take it in normal form?
Because it begins to melt and damp.

About bread. The day before departure, I bake two loaves of bread. I pack each one in foil. I think it should be enough for two for a week.
If not enough, then above I brought cakes from Schumacher.

Ritulya, you’re going very hard, dragging a lot of equipment. Agree with your husband, do you rest or work?
I propose to end the discussion and move on to drawing up a specific menu.

The last two years we had a rest in Crimea with tents, the multicooker was not relevant. Before that we went on vacation, stayed in hotels, I took the multicooker with me. Even when I flew on the plane with the baby, I still took it.
It’s not Phil, but it’s not important, right?)
When we are not yet with tents, I will definitely take a multicooker. mamusi, Tanya-Fanya, thanks for the very helpful topic!

Here is the problem of Bread worries me
In Sochi, bread (namely Sochi cold-smoked bread) is much tastier than in Moscow.
There are mini-bakeries in Krasnaya Polyana, as I remember

Tanya, we love these khachapuriki very much. I often bake them at home. For this, I take the Multibaker. It's small and handy. Cheesecakes (mine) and khachapuriki Machines I will bake in it. While Filka cooks potatoes (or macaroons, rice)
After all, I try to cook those dishes that my husband loves.
Of course, it would be easier if he ate buckwheat, but does not eat (he has it with the seas "in the liver"). But why is the pasta NOT "in the liver"? I don’t understand everything! Well, it's easier for me ~ no need to rinse pasta!)))

Yes, Tanyush, you're right, it's time.
I'll be there today.
I'll start writing. Final. Approved (taking into account the peculiarities and requirements of my little "team")

Is it possible to use your own electrical appliances in hotels? Or does this hotel provide a kitchen in the rooms? My acquaintances drove, they were not even allowed to use something for children. The explanation is fire safety and certain calculations for the mains voltage, which cannot be exceeded.
And my husband is right, you need to rest on a week's vacation to the fullest. Get ready at home, all winter is ahead. Moreover, small children with specials. no menu.
Jiri
Ritul, off topic, of course, but where are the cats for a week?

.... But cutlets with onions, pieces of meat or chicken with bones can quickly deteriorate. There are enough of them for the road, but on arrival it is better to throw them away.
Rituyla, do you understand the difference? Or did I explain poorly?

Rita, once again:
It is better to take homemade meat products prepared without additives, with the exception of dry seasonings or such seasonings that are themselves preservatives. For example, you cannot take cutlets, they may deteriorate, because they contain onions. The boiled pork will arrive perfectly in foil and will go for dinner tomorrow. Because before baking, we rubbed a piece of meat with salt and pepper, and even smeared it with mustard, then baked It for about two hours, we are sure that it was baked.
Chicken pieces with a bone should not be taken, because of the bones it can deteriorate, and chicken fillet, again well baked in its own juice in the sleeve, goes well.
Ritochka, I wrote about this difference earlier.
In short, when we leave, I take ready-made food from home for the maximum for the first two days of rest. We arrived, tired from the road. You, most likely, have a "serpentine" road in the mountains, it wags, in the mountains there is a "wow!" A shower will quickly relieve fatigue, a light snack from a magic home basket and ... go ahead! Admire the scenery and fill your lungs with oxygen! And for a fig, sorry, here are our cartoons!
After walking, you can repeat a snack from other homemade preparations and spaaaat, sweet and sweet sleep with an open window.
And go ahead in the morning! Conquer open spaces and mountain peaks! And in the evening, get some wonderful home supplies out of the refrigerator and just instruct Filka to warm them up a little, let Him work with a tablecloth with a self-assembled one, while Ritochka relaxes in the shower after a wonderful mountain walk.

Yeah,

Rita is not relaxing in her soul ...
There I get up, Tanya, I threw on a robe and immediately go to the SPA ... There I have to get up early oooo ...
There is a sauna, a hammam, a swimming pool, and a shower ... and that's it!

Then for breakfast! Then go for a walk. And we will come ~ I want something hot, juicy, with gravy. Not dry boiled pork. You can have her for dinner. With a cucumber. Or take them to the mountains for buters. Well, this is how it is with us ... Others are different
Speaking of boiled pork ... write in a personal how are you doing, huh?

Something I didn’t understand means there is a Spa, but no dinners ???

I only interpret for your dinners, however, and soups are needed!

Larisk, you're funny. Are you asking permission or what? And who can forbid me to use what I want in the room? The main thing is not to voice it when you check in.

And who can forbid me to use what I want in the room?
We were just discussing a case at work the other day. A colleague went with her grandchildren. The maid discovered some kind of device, in my opinion a bottle heater, thought it was some kind of kitchen gadget like a multicooker, quarreled that it was impossible and threatened with a fine. Well, it can be at the level of some one hotel or even one maid (watchman's syndrome). No one will force me to cook on vacation even at gunpoint, so I have not come across such questions. I wanted to warn that there were no incidents and the vacation would not be marred by quarrels with the staff. You can't put the smells anywhere
Rick
You won't be fined for the smell. And remove the device from sight.
mamusi
Larissa, you misunderstood. The husband himself wants to cook there. Take a multicooker his idea! At the very beginning, I wrote why. This is our mutual decision. He's just against "complex" multicomponent dishes. I'm writing about it! So that I do not create Casseroles, Pies and others like them there.
How different we are!
And we understand everything in different ways! I'm resting there. Relax all at least. For me, a week is a lot. What forces do you need to cook potatoes in the evening or pasta? And put a jar of homemade stew in there. Cut your tomato cucumber and eat !!!
Yes, beauty! Than poisoning in cafes ...Thank you. I don't want to go to the hospital after the rest.
In the end, each family chooses for itself.
There is absolutely nowhere to eat. Only expensive (!) Restaurants. Only Breakfast Buffet at the hotel is provided .. This is not our first time in this Hotel. In search of food, we wandered into all the cafes in the neighborhood. The quality of the food is just unacceptable for us.
Tanya-Fanyawe don't need lunch! At this time we are in the mountains. Booths to go and tea.
In the evening, soup or macaroons with stew. (And what's the soup for supper?)
We eat with pleasure!
Maya Lebedeva
Tanya-Fanya, and how do you pack salt, sugar and spices? in containers, packages or something else? We are also planning a small trip. We definitely take Filimon with us, disposable dishes. And in what spices, salt and sugar I can’t think of packing. Or is it better to buy them on the spot upon arrival?
Larssevsk
mamusi, why are you making excuses? All people are different. In general, unlike many on this forum, I do not like to cook and I am sitting here because of gadgets for lazy people, although I cook (if mine is not bullshit), delicious,.
And there are people who love to do it and never get tired of it. As well as with knitting, embroidery, a vegetable garden, etc. So rest as you feel comfortable and eat what you like to your health, just be vigilant, suddenly a scandalous maid will appear in your hotel, which will ruin your mood or God forbid extorting money will start.
In short, why am I, when you leave your room, put your assistants in your bags
