The most difficult thing was to guess the amount of dough to fill the panel, laid out 2 tablespoons / l, baked for ~ 3.5 minutes, here I appreciated the grooves-sides around the panels, the excess dough was collected there, and did not flow down the body of the waffle iron and at the same time dried up for the crumb -filling. In total, 9 cakes turned out, the last one was used for aligning the corners and sprinkling. The cake was infused in the refrigerator for a day, before that it was left on the table for 2 hours, but I suspect that the more it costs, the tastier it becomes, although there is practically nothing left of it.

The main cream for my honey cake is boiled condensed milk with sour cream. It is thicker than just sour cream with sugar and has a wonderful crème brulee flavor. But here it was too lazy to whip condensed milk with sour cream, so the classic is just sour cream and sugar to taste. And I poured cream into these cages of waffles)). Thank you very much, very good fast alternative to the classic honey cake.
It turned out 8 pieces (I have Phillips Kukina with 3 removable panels). If it didn’t spoil 2 waffles, then the cream from 1 can of sour cream of 25% fat content for 450g would be enough for all waffles.
