Ingredients

large and medium sweet peppers 4 things.
minced turkey 500gr
medium carrots 1 PC
barley flakes 50ml
sour cream 150gr
salt taste
spices for coffee taste
cheese, I have Suluguni 200gr

Cooking method

  • I wanted to make me stuffed peppers here, but not in a saucepan, as I usually do, but in Princess.
  • I started with minced meat, took the minced turkey (I was in my freezer), rubbed carrots into it (not large), poured barley flakes, added 15% sour cream. I poured salt in 0.5 hour. l., but I do not add enough salt and generously poured spices for coffee (composition: Cardamom, Cinnamon, Ginger, Allspice, Cloves, vanillin, Nutmeg). If you don't have such a mixture, you can simply use a mixture of the listed spices, well, excluding vanillin, or just add cardamom with ginger, in principle, this is already enough for a turkey, for my taste, onions and garlic are not very suitable for turkeys, so they are not in the recipe. Gave it to stand a little - the barley flakes swell, about 15-20 minutes.
  • While the minced meat was infused, I took up the peppers, so that the peppers would fit into the pizza oven, I cut them lengthwise, right with the tails, cleaned them of membranes and seeds.
  • I covered the bottom of the Princess with a teflon sheet, put the peppers on it.
  • I stuffed them with prepared minced meat, put thin strips of cheese on top, covering the minced meat completely and pepper with black pepper for flavor. I covered it with another teflon sheet so that the cheese would not stick to the lid.
  • I turned on the pizza oven for 20 minutes, then let it stand for another 10 minutes and you can eat

The idea to cut the peppers in half lengthwise, right with the tails, I saw in the Dixie magazine catalog, they have interesting recipes and solutions in their catalog. The tails do not interfere at all, for them you can even hold the peppers and eat the peppers to the very stem, otherwise it is always a pity to throw out the "butts" of the peppers. You catch the most relish from red, which contains a very large amount of sugars, the bottom is baked and gives a caramel flavor. Definitely, this dish is in the piggy bank of permanent ones, we freeze a lot of peppers for stewing in a cartoon for a quick dinner, but this year in our freezer halves for GF prevail -ki, and dinner is prepared even faster.
