Birch flour 165 g
Farina 165 g
Salt 10 g
Spring water 350 (maybe a little more)
Liquid honey 10 g
Vegetable oil 10 g
Yeast 5 g
Strong leaven 1-2 tbsp. l.

It is easy to chew, breaks, and when dried is ground in a coffee grinder.
By the way, they say that birch porridge made from birch is tastier than any porridge made from an ax. There is a thin soft layer between the bark and the wood - cambium. In the spring, when it is swollen, it can be eaten raw; when the cambium dries up, it is better to boil or dry it. It turns out quite tasty porridge.
Studies have shown that bread baked using birch bark flour can save you from diabetes and obesity. ... As a rule, the bast is harvested in the spring, when the tree is saturated with sap and it becomes easy to remove the bark from the trunk. So we checked how much our ancestors suffered, eating such bread in the years of famine. And there is a lot of evidence, and not only in our latitudes such bread was used.

The bast itself is very soft in structure, brittle and porous, so I broke it with two fingers without effort. I think it all depends on the grind and quantity.
And if you gobble up a whole loaf of hot bread, then you can also give an oak.
This bread is akin to bran bread, and bran is not welcome for stomach diseases. Bread slightly bitter, it gives a choleretic effect.
Farina and bast are the parts of the birch that are used for juices in spring, they are very nutritious in terms of nutrients.
Now I will add a spoon to many breads, and it gives a nutty taste!
I will only grind with the help of stone millstones, I have such an opportunity.
The third day I go dry, everything is ok, although I hardly eat coarse food!
