Ingredients

Salt 1 tsp
Sugar 1/2 tbsp. l.
Seasoning 1/2 tsp
Vinegar 9% 1/2 tsp
Water (boiling water) how much do you need

Cooking method

  • Pickled cucumbers "Sandwich" are excellent not only for making delicious sandwiches, but can also be a very good addition to many second courses. They are prepared very quickly, so I prepare them as needed, for which I use a 200 ml can (from "Santa Bremor" caviar, very convenient and takes up little space in the refrigerator). If you need to cook more, then you can simply count all the ingredients in the appropriate proportion. Important! The can must be tightly closed with a lid!
  • You can use any cucumbers for such pickling, but it is better to take without plastic packaging (that is, which are stored outdoors, and not in plastic wrap), then they will crunch slightly. Cooking such cucumbers is very simple (no complicated technologies, absolutely any person can handle it without any problems) and does not take much time; but they will always be better than any purchased ones, since you will know exactly what ingredients, in what quantities and what quality you used. Plus, you can always edit the recipe for yourself based on your tastes.
  • Preparation:
  • Put all the ingredients in the jar in the strictly specified order:
  • - onions (several very thinly sliced ​​half-rings);
  • - Garlic, cut into slices, ½ - 1 wedge;
  • - dill: we cut off the stalk from the branch and put it into the jar without cutting it;
  • - allspice, 2 pieces;
  • - ground black pepper (optional, to taste, for spicy lovers);
  • - cloves, 1 piece;
  • - bay leaf, ½ medium leaf;
  • - cucumbers - cut in half and chop as thinly as possible so that "you can read". Quantity - up to the top of the can;
  • - we start the electric kettle, as we need boiling water;
  • - pour salt, sugar, "15 herbs" seasoning on top of the cucumbers (I use a measuring spoon from a bread machine, so a more accurate dosage is obtained);
  • - pour in vinegar;
  • - pour everything up to the top with boiling water; boiling water must be poured onto salt, sugar and seasoning, so that all this is immediately mixed with water.
  • Next, close the jar very tightly, shake well and leave for 20 minutes. Then shake it again and put it in the refrigerator.
  • After 30 minutes, the cucumbers are ready.

I just cut the cucumber in half (lengthwise) and cut it as thin as possible. It is stored in the refrigerator for 4-5 days, just a small amount, so it does not live up to 4-5 days ...

Yes, you can cut it as you like, the main thing is extremely thin, then the cucumbers will be ready in 40-50 minutes. And spices can be added to your taste, for example, the same "Provencal herbs".
