Cooking method

  • "Marlene" is also called a man's kiss - a beautiful name and a very tasty cake, somewhat similar to our honey cake with caramel cream. The cake turned out to be wonderful - delicate and airy, like fluff!

  • Add honey and beat. If you have frozen honey, heat it up and cool it down.

  • Add slaked soda with lemon juice (1 tbsp. L.), Mix.

  • Gradually adding flour, knead the dough. It should be very soft and not sticky to your hands. Do not forget that the density of flour is different in all regions, so add the last 100 grams of flour gradually, it may take less.

  • Divide the dough into 5 equal parts (I weighed). Roll out each piece of dough into a 20x30 cm rectangle. I rolled the dough directly on baking paper, which I smeared with a very thin layer of butter. First, she straightened the dough with her hands, and then covered it with a second sheet of baking paper and rolled it out with a rolling pin. I advise you - before you start baking, roll out all the cakes, because they bake very quickly!

  • Pierce the cake with a fork over its entire area. Bake in preheated to 170 "Oven for 5-7 minutes until golden brown. Focus on your oven!
  • Cool the finished cakes on paper.

  • So that all the cakes were the perfect size, I cut them out with a metal frame measuring 20X30 cm. Save the cuttings and place them in a bag and roll them into crumbs with a rolling pin.

  • Cream: From milk and pudding powder, boil the pudding and completely cool it by sticking cling film to the surface.

  • Beat the butter and gradually add the condensed milk without stopping.
  • While beating, gradually add the cooled pudding to the butter cream.

  • Glaze: heat the cream to a temperature of 90 "C, place the pieces of chocolate in them and stir until smooth after 2-3 minutes.
  • Allow the icing to cool to a temperature of 30 "C (I check with my lips) and pour it into the middle of the cake. Tilting the frame with the cake in different directions, let the icing evenly cover the surface. When the icing hardens, release the cake from the frame by blowing the sides of the mold with a hairdryer.

  • The longer the cake costs, the tastier it becomes! And most importantly - do not put it in the refrigerator after being cut into portions - a completely different taste !!!!
  • You can decorate each bite with walnuts glazed with caramel.
