Ingredients

egg yolks 4 things.
wheat flour 230 gr.
cocoa 2 tbsp. l.
soda 1 tsp
vinegar for soda quenching

egg whites 4 things.
sugar 270 gr.
Cream
poppy 100 g
water 1 tbsp.
sugar 1 tbsp.
potato starch 1 tbsp. l.
butter from 72.5% fat 400 gr.
Fudge
sugar 4 tbsp. l.
cocoa 3 tbsp. l.
thick sour cream 2 tbsp. l.
butter 2 tbsp. l.
Filling
roasted nuts (peanuts) 250 gr.

Cooking method

  • Cake 1
  • Grind margarine with sugar, add yolks one by one, then flour and cocoa, soda, slaked with vinegar. The dough turns out to be not very thick, in whom it does not collect, but does not pour, it is necessary to smear it in shape. We bake three cakes in an oven preheated to 180C for about 15 minutes. I just bake on a baking sheet, on baking paper, dividing the dough into three parts by eye, distribute the dough with my hands. The finished dough is very fragile, it is better to wait until it cools down, then remove the cakes from the paper.
  • Cake 2
  • Beat the whites with sugar and bake two cakes. If it is not possible to bake the cakes at the same time, then it is better to beat two proteins and 135 gr. sugar separately for each cake. In an oven preheated to 180C, put the dough and immediately reduce the temperature to 120C. Bake for 1.5 hours.
  • Cream
  • Mix poppy seeds with sugar, pour boiling water, put on fire and bring to a boil, add diluted in two tbsp. l. cold water starch, stirring constantly. Boil the poppy seed until thick and cool.
  • Beat the room temperature butter until fluffy and, continuing to beat, add the poppy seed in a tablespoon.
  • Nuts chop with a knife into large pieces.
  • We collect the cake
  • It is better to assemble in a split form. Put the brown cake first, spread with cream, sprinkle with nuts, then meringue cake, spread with cream and sprinkle with nuts, dark cake again and so on until the last dark cake. We send the cake under a small press to the refrigerator for at least an hour, until the cream hardens. Then we take it out of the mold, you can turn it upside down, and pour it with fondant.
  • Fudge
  • Mix all the ingredients and cook over low heat for three minutes after boiling. Let it cool slightly and pour over the cake, send it to the refrigerator overnight.

Total: 2 hours 15 minutes and another 45 minutes left for glaze and decorate. I did not count the hour for standing, since this is not an active time, the cake does not require attention in the refrigerator.
