Tomato sauce for meat (and not only)

Ingredients

Tomato paste 3st. l.
Vegetable oil 3 tbsp. l.
Vinegar 1 st. l.
Garlic 3-5 cloves
Cilantro, green onion Beam

Cooking method

  • In our family, this tomato paste sauce is very respected. Ingredients are available not only in season, preparing quickly, delicious!
  • Mix tomato paste with oil and vinegar, add crushed or finely grated garlic, salt to taste. In the Caucasus, they love cilantro, so it tastes good to us with it. But if someone does not like its taste or is difficult to buy, then you can replace it with any other greens or mixture - parsley, dill, etc. We also add green onions. Finely chop all the greens and add to the sauce.
  • It turns out to be quite thick. It is convenient to put on meat, kebabs, chicken (or dunk). The husband loves to eat it with pies / whites!
  • It helps a lot when she suddenly decided to bake chicken in AG or guests came ... Or for barbecue ... He prepares quickly, everyone let's try who have tried in short, everyone likes it.
  • It tastes sour, with a garlic flavor! Well goes very well with meat. ...
  • This time I put in a LOT of cilantro, green onions and garlic leaves. Almost 1: 1 on about "he with tomato probably:

Note

I used to hate cilantro, it smelled incredibly to me. And I fell in love after eating green sandwiches! Also very fast and tasty! Cut Borodino bread into slices, spread with butter. Finely chop cilantro and green onions, add a little salt, crush with a crush, to give juice. Press the sandwiches to the herbs with butter. Turn over, spread on a platter. Serve! The first thing our guests do is sweep them off the table.

lana light
Evgesh @, I don’t bother about it - I use it as it is - at least 6%, at least 9%

Mix tomato paste with oil and vinegar, add crushed or finely grated garlic, salt to taste.
And I add my mayonnaise with lemon juice to tomato paste (count oil and vinegar in one bottle) and soy sauce (replaces salt), as well as garlic and more dill.
This is my favorite quick cold sauce, it goes well with mantas and goes especially well with boiled rice.

Crown, Gal, but most importantly - quickly!
It will be necessary to try yours for sure!
Masha Ivanova
Crown, Galya! And I do that sometimes. And sometimes I put tomato paste, and sometimes ketchup, which is in the fridge at the moment. Sometimes I add adjika or other hot sauce. All combinations are good.

I also make this sauce, only volume. I don't measure pasta with a spoon, but immediately take 0.5 liters and the rest to taste and by eye
Rick
And we do this, only without oil and vinegar. Sveta, do you add vinegar just for acid?

Light, and green sandwiches are on our forum? If not, can you post it? I would definitely bookmark it. And so they will get lost
lana light
Rick, Zhen, somehow did not think about vinegar. In addition to acid, it probably makes tomato paste less thick. And the oil is more plastic or something ... Fig knows him, he liked this particular option and that's it!
I don’t know about the sandwiches; My sister taught me how to do it, but I don't know where she got the recipe. I'll look later. If not, then I will take pictures and lay out the recipe
