Wital
Hello everyone.
The Panasonic SD-ZB2502 bread maker worked for 2 years and the plastic burst latch in the raisin / nut dispenser, while the dispenser was not used, that is, the plastic itself bursts due to temperature changes over time. I measured the temperature immediately after the end of the next baking, at the place where the latch was installed - 130 ° C. Panasonic does not sell the latch separately, but only together with the ADA44E165-H0 dispenser for models: SD-2501, SD-2511, SD-ZB2502, SD-ZB2512... I see no reason to buy the entire dispenser for the sake of the same plastic latch, which will also burst after a while (planned obsolescence) and made a 3D model in exact dimensions for the manufacture of a stainless steel latch on a 3D printer.
Here in the photo you can see where the plastic burst:
Improvement - iron latch of the dispenser on a 3D printer.

Ninelle
Witaland does it work? My husband made me out of aluminum - it doesn't open, I use it as a plug ..
Wital
Ninelle, if the dimensions are the same as those of the native one, then everything will work 3 key points in the photo - the arc on the left, where the opening mechanism presses, the cylinder (axis of rotation) of the latch and the hook itself (holds the lid).
Ninelle
Vitaly, and another question, is this a guide to action or can you buy one?
Wital
Ninelle, can be purchased I designed the model in the store (my nickname) 3D printing Shapeways - 🔗 .
There is a problem with delivery to Russia, as major postal service UPS, etc., stopped delivery to physicists due to problems with our customs. But there is an option to find an inexpensive metal seal in Russia, I find out.

In general, I contacted 3 offices in Russia. Top3dshop on the site with a minimum order price of 3000r said that it would be expensive and with metals in general they have difficulties. Cubicprints voiced the minimum salary of 5000 rubles. And Can-touch with a minimum price of 500 rubles / cm ^ 3 for metal and a request to make it cheap, generally counted 7800 rubles, while for the "cut" of the model from the table 6800 rubles (there is a correspondence). Have you seen this latch at all? Less than 1cm ^ 3, there is such a pot-bellied little thing that you can't look without tears, what is there to cut for 6800? If only the loot from a lonely client. And they say that if they ordered 100 pieces, then the "cut" would be smeared on everything imperceptibly, and the remaining 99 suddenly do not need to be cut off. And the fact that the point of 3D printing is just to print 1 test part, and not immediately print 100 pieces and then throw everything out because of the printer's jamb, they do not know. In short, the future has already arrived. In the end, I returned to Shapeways and ordered to a neighboring country with the code FIRSTFREESHIP with free shipping.

Found a company that is shopping at shapeways for Russia.
the link cannot be given, but those who need it will find it themselves.
I have a very old Panasonic 253, has been plowing faithfully for more than 10 years. Only the other day the hook broke. So there I found it for my model.
Wital, thanks!
Wital

For SD253, the latch is different, I indicated the model in the description where the same dispenser is located by number (the latch is the same), like I listed everything... On health, write how it is progressing.

Ninelle, I sent you a message back there, got it? And how did the husband sharpen the first latch, without dimensions by eye? Why doesn't it work, go crazy or what?

I'm almost 28 euros with shipping to Ireland. Delivery to Russia is more expensive than the part itself, and about 32 euros for everything. The dispenser assembly is more expensive. Whoever needs it, he will buy, given how quickly this plastic part breaks.

Thanks, I'll keep it in mind.

The delivery price does not depend either on the weight or on the number of parts in the order, therefore, for subsequent purchases with paid delivery, it is advantageous to take a batch. There, for all other countries outside the list, the most expensive standard delivery is $ 19.99, you can substitute Russia in the basket and see the price, but in fact it does not send to the Russian address. Here's what you will see - "UPS has temporarily suspended the acceptance of dutiable shipments sent to private individuals in Russia until further notice. We apologize for the inconvenience."and this one has temporarily stretched out for several years.
It doesn't matter how much the dispenser assembly costs if there is the same tricky latch that bursts at the end of the warranty :). The point is to put a tuning iron latch so that it lasts longer than the stove lives. I am for quality as it was with "Made in USSR" and do not approve of modern tendencies to make often breakable unreliable things.
My latch passed the Netherlands-Germany-China in a day, this is how you have to work. You can check the UPS website number 1Z6WA2770494301064.

Why pay for shipping, Shapeways gives free shipping at the first purchase, you need to apply the FIRSTFREESHIP promo code when you checkout.
At the moment they don’t give anything and the promo code you named does not work, with any choice of forwarding. There is no discount for either the guest or the participant now.

Did you receive an email during registration with an advertisement for this code? I found my letter, it says - "Get free shipping on your first design... Use code at checkout FIRSTFREESHIP "Exactly, but I remembered it as a gift on the first order, probably this code only works if I uploaded a model to them (the store does not need to be done) and ordered it. Then, in theory, you can do this to save money - Upload to the site Shapeways model, order it, the FIRSTFREESHIP promo code should work and add my latch to the order and voila, I think whoever realized that will figure it out.

Yes, Vitaly, such a letter came to me and the code is there. I suspect I was in a hurry ... I should have copied the code from my letter, and I just typed in the FIRSTFREESHIP coupon.
Therefore, I am also interested in the details of the purchase of this part by Valeria.

On my purchase: the part was ordered and paid for on May 7, but only yesterday a letter came that the postal code for UPS delivery was assigned and today it was sent. That is - 10 days BEFORE shipment: -

Later I will write how it will end.

And yet such a weirdness, the weight of the package is indicated as half a kilogram (0.5 kg)

I had the same thing, when ordering, it was indicated how long it would take to manufacture a part, depending on the material, printers and technologies are different, an industrial printer is loaded all the way with many parts (orders) and everything is printed at once (tens of hours), so 10 days for the metal is still fast. The metal-powder is glued in layers, baked in an oven, molten bronze is drawn into the pores by the capillary method, as a result, the alloy is 60% steel, 40% bronze, this is the cheapest method of metal printing.

And yet such a weirdness, the weight of the package is indicated as half a kilogram (0.5 kg)
Because any little thing is packed in a branded box with bubble (anti-shock) film, every detail is put into a box in a branded transparent bag (depending on the printing technology), and plus documents, and 0.5 kg is probably rounding up by mail. I specifically found out the details, since the Chinese opened my package and handed over a photo of only the package, I don't know how it will come in the end, since I don't communicate directly with them. So far there is only this photo:

Valeria, ask your son how he got a discount on delivery?
In the same place in Holland (the Netherlands), there was a factory at Shapeways (another in New York) and they sent me from there. I looked at the calculator in the basket, there are 3 mails to choose from, despite the fact that the delivery is within the country, the cheapest DHL is $ 7.80. And from Holland, is it redirected to Russia by a company or through friends?

And, well, then everything is clear, since the son did not load the model, then the code should not have worked like Natalia's, but because of the appeal, as an exception, he was presented with 8 bucks to the site, they are good guys. When I first ordered my latch, they made a refund and canceled the order because the printer did not like the conjugate shapes in the model, he counted them as separate objects with zero clearance and swore that it was necessary to increase the gap between the parts to the minimum allowable (indicated on the material page) so that they do not sinter together (although it should have been). Then I just continued the figures with the immersion of surfaces into each other and then everything went like clockwork. So, due to the registration of a new order, this promo code stopped working for me, it turns out that if for some reason the order does not reach sending by mail, then this code still burns out along with the order. I wrote them a letter saying how it was, there was no sending yet and the code for sending had already burned out, I was politely returned 20 bucks for delivery to the account of the site, well done.
Wital
It is finished! I received the part, started comparing it with my own, almost everything was in the bull's eye, the detailing is good, I was afraid that the cylinder (axis) was larger in diameter (fractions of a millimeter), but it turned out even better than my native one sat in its place, since the backlash of the lid was gone ... Collected, pressed, opens just like native, everything is soft, great! I took a lot of parsing and collecting photos, as well as a video about triggering, I'll post it gradually.

Natalia, and how long have you been like this, the lid has not yet died, has not deformed? I had a dispenser for 2 years, its iron bottom was burnt, iron keeps a high temperature, so the carbon deposits on the lid are not weak above the dispenser (seal), but with a hole instead of the dispenser for 2 years I had xs so that there would be a plastic lid. In theory, the iron bottom of the dispenser reflects infrared heat, so it should affect baked goods as well as energy consumption. As I understand it, when the dispenser is triggered (if it is used according to the recipe), it remains open, there is no closing mechanism, ideally then, before baking (until it warms up), open the lid of the bread machine and close the iron lid of the dispenser so that the heat is not lost through the hole.

It does not depend, even if you order 1000 pieces, the delivery price does not change, you can check it in the calculator on the website. Yes, for good reason, you need to order a batch to Russia, because at a price of $ 14.95 for a part, paying $ 19.99 for delivery is not cost-effective (use a promotional code whoever can). In theory, yes, it does. But in the dispenser itself, around the same door, and around the dispenser itself, there are slots and holes through which, from the heated lid too, hot air enters the dispenser and fries, well, maybe a few degrees less than under the common lid. I think it's not about the temperature inside the dispenser, but maybe in the direction of the hot air movement.
Energy consumption ... we do not bake in an open HP, but the slots in the dispenser are provided and taken into account by the manufacturer.

If you think about it, HP is designed to work according to an automatic program, in most cases without the owner's intervention at all. Moreover, with a delay of 13 hours. Who will get up in the middle of the night to close the dispenser: - This is probably a matter of chance and desire, to close / not close.

Well, then I correctly painted above, you can download which thread a useful model from the Internet (google models for 3D printing), upload the model to Shapeways (here's your design) and add it to the basket from the cheapest Strong & Flexible plastic (make 4 days ), add everything you need from the store to the cart and place one order, since there is a loaded model in the order, the promo code should work for the entire order. Another way to fight against $ 20 for air in a box is to order a batch, as I understand they all burst and the demand should be in theory.

There, the cracks are not so important as the general area, everything is covered with metal - buzzing, a big hole is not buzzing. I was surprised that there is no closing mechanism, the lid stupidly releases and it dangles open until you open the stove yourself and close the dispenser with your hands. I said ideally how, if you hang out next to when the dispenser has worked, then it is not difficult to open the stove lid and slam the dispenser, and you don't need to bother specially at night, especially since we baked monotonous recipes for 2 years and this dispenser never worked, here now there is an excuse to try out recipes with a dispenser. There, not only UPS refused (a general stop of large mailers), there is some type of fast packets to physicists who are sent by Shapeways, it is not their fault that this service does not work stupidly in Russia, but the service is good, the Netherlands-Germany-China per day. I don’t know what works quickly in Russia, often doesn’t work at all, which is already annoying, in 2017 it only got worse, I have experience in the past - hundreds of deliveries from all over the world, I didn’t get anything in less than 2 weeks, but 3 months - It was. Recently I ordered myself pepper cylinders from Germany, the parcel stupidly returned to the seller without an answer and greetings, my phone number was indicated, everything was quiet, awesome service, who after that would work with rush, the seller on the Amazon immediately got a message that they were not being sent to rush, and it is a cylinder manufacturer itself, a brand store.

This is when my part broke, I googled, found out the problem, and found that part from TriodeGirl, it sells for 253 and 257, and for our ovens its model hung in the BETA status (in revision), which means that it may not stand up at all in size, given that the model itself is not a copy of the original, it is clear that it was not done so hot, so I was confused to make it myself from the glued original, for quality. The whole question was whether they could recreate the detail according to the model accurately, given that according to this, the cheapest technology made of metal, the minimum detailing is 1mm, on the model, the side walls are 1mm each, and the walls of the cross under the spring are generally 0.8mm, but everything turned out fine, hit bull's-eye the first time without any BETA tests. I am very glad that everything went well for you, imagine what opportunities open up with 3D metal printing, the bread maker gave me an idea, and I haven't followed 3D printing for a long time. Somehow they said to me - "Here you are, modeling on a PC, you cannot touch your work with your hands," but here you can already. The main thing is to make a high-quality model, and then, using this model, you can more accurately create a part (with improved technology), you can already make it out of aluminum, there the detailing is 2 times better (0.5mm), but more expensive, who needs it, I can always add the necessary material ... And now you can choose Polished Bronze Steel for printing, they promise a polished pier, you have to try.
