Ingredients

Milk 2/3 st.
Water 2/3 st.
Black tea (dry brewing) 1 tsp
Ground cinnamon 0.5 tsp
Ground ginger 0.5 tsp
Freshly ground cardamom 0.5 tsp
Ground white pepper on the tip of a knife
Badian 1 star
Honey (sugar) 1 tsp - option

Cooking method

  • In a saucepan, combine milk and water. Boil.
  • Pour in the tea leaves. As soon as the masala has acquired a caramel color, add the spices.
  • Boil for 2-3 minutes. Cover and leave to "pick up a bouquet"
  • Strain. The drink has a delicate oriental aroma and hot pepper breath.
  • Good, winter, warming tea, of which recipes are poured out on the Internet.
  • But the most delicious will be the masala that you collect for yourself.

We agreed with my spouse that as a gift, on March 8, I would like to have a mortar and pestle. And here is the result - mortars, there are now three on the farm, plus a BIG LUBOFF for spices. And the tea is really delicious. I did several options and I like any. Even with a minimal set of types - cloves, tangerine zest and black pepper - it gives pleasure (probably also from threshing something in a mortar)))))))

Yul, no, not right. When the milk and water boil, I throw in the dry tea leaves and wait for the caramel color to appear - it's literally a minute and a half. Then I add spices, cook for 2-3 minutes and turn off, covering with a lid. So the tea is infused for 5-7 minutes.
After boiling the water-milk liquid, everything else is done on the lowest fire - it languishes, not boils.
