Ingredients

Cottage cheese 300 g
Egg whites 2 pcs.
Salt pinch
Sugar 80 g
Vanilla sugar 1 tbsp. l.
Cream 100 ml
Gelatin 1 tbsp. l.
Liqueur Cointreau 30 ml
Confectionery sprinkles 2-3 st. l.
Almond petals, chocolate for decoration

Cooking method

  • Pour gelatin with cream and fifty milliliters of water, leave (if gelatin is not instant) until swelling and heat, without boiling, until dissolved in a water bath or in a microwave. Beat the whites with salt until firm peaks:

  • Beat cottage cheese with sugar, vanilla sugar, liqueur and gelatin diluted in cream in a blender until a homogeneous pasty mass:

  • Gently stirring, add whipped proteins to the curd mass:

  • Stir in confectionery sprinkles into the mixture, spread the mass into molds and place in the refrigerator until it solidifies completely. Decorate the finished mousse with almond petals and grated chocolate chips.

But in the case of buying eggs in proven places such as large supermarkets, where they pass the strictest control of the sanitary and epidemiological station, there is no risk. All our lives we eat cakes and pastries with protein cream, soft-boiled eggs, eggnog in the end. And liqueur here acts exclusively as a flavoring agent, just like in sweets and cakes. In the end, for young children, it can be reduced, replaced with something else, or not used at all.
