Bulgarian pepper stuffed with plums

Ingredients

Bulgarian sweet pepper 5 kg.
Any plum 1 kg.
Grapes it is possible without
Eggplant it is possible without
Marinade:
Sugar 1.5-2 tbsp.
Vinegar 9% 0.5 tbsp.
Salt 3 tbsp. l.
Water 1 l.
Spice:
Bay leaf 1 sheet per 1 liter can.
Carnation 1 PC. for 1 liter can.
Allspice 3 pcs. for 1 liter can.

Cooking method

  • Peel the pepper without damaging it.
  • You can take any plum. Both prunes and dropsy. Peel, cut in half and remove the pit.
  • At my own peril and risk, I also put in the jar eggplant (peeled and cut into half rings) and blue sweet grapes (cut in half and took out the pit). Although the original recipe did not include them. Looking ahead - I did not regret it! Just put less sugar - the grapes gave sweetness.
  • Fill the peppers with plums. Put the peppers into the prepared jar, push the eggplants and grapes between them.
  • Now fill the jar with water, drain the water. This is in order to measure how much water will be needed. The marinade is necessary under the lid of the jar, as the peppers will absorb a lot.
  • I repeat: if you put grapes, then we take sugar along the lower border. I advise you not to change the rest of the ingredients.
  • In the resulting water, boil the marinade based on the indicated proportions of the ingredients without vinegar.
  • Pour the peppers with boiling marinade. Add vinegar directly to the jar and immediately cover with a lid.
  • Sterilize the jar for 30 minutes. Roll up or screw up.

This recipe was given to me by my beloved neighbor Nina Vasilievna. I was skeptical, but I really like to try everything unusual. I only put in a few cans. How I regret it now !!! It's so unexpectedly delicious! Especially with potatoes! And also a world snack! Try it.

There the plum is not the plum, the pepper is not the pepper. I can't even describe. Eggplant was not guessed at all. Grapes are very relevant. And they just drank the marinade right away. Very tasty. And the view of the bank is very mysterious.
