Ingredients

Lemon - 2 pcs.
Flour - 260 g
Eggs - 3 pcs.
Butter - 200 g
Powdered sugar 230 g (150 g - for dough + 80 g for fondant)
Baking powder - 10 g
Salt - a pinch
Vanillin - 1 g

Cooking method

  • Slightly moist, not too sweet, aromatic, slightly crumbly and insanely delicious! "Disappears" for one tea party !!! Help yourself!
  • Beat the softened butter with a mixer with powdered sugar. Then I add vanillin and a pinch of salt. I stir it.
  • Continuing to beat, add eggs one at a time. Beat for at least 3 minutes.
  • I add the zest of one lemon. Then I squeeze out the juice of one lemon.
  • I add sifted flour and baking powder. I stir first with a spoon, then with a mixer until smooth.
  • I grease the form with butter, spread the dough and level with a spatula.
  • I put it in an oven preheated to 180˚C for 25 minutes. The size of my form is 30x22cm
  • While the pie is in the oven, I'm making the fondant. To do this, I mix the juice of half a lemon with 80 g of powdered sugar. I mix with a regular fork.
  • I take the cake out of the oven and put it on the board. It gets out of the form without any problems! Cool slightly.
  • Carefully! The cake is very delicate and fragile.
  • I grease the slightly cooled cake with sweet and sour fondant.
