Ingredients

For boats:
Large potatoes 5 items
Dill greens (fresh or dried)
Salt to taste
Garlic 1 tooth.
Yoghurt boat for molding
Cling film
For the salad:
Boiled carrots 1 PC.
Hard boiled egg 2 pcs.
Herring fillet 200 gr.
Bulb onions 1-1 / 2 pcs.
Vegetable oil
Salt
Pepper mix
Mayonnaise in a pack to paint

Cooking method

  • Cooking boats:
  • Peel and boil potatoes in salted water with garlic and dill. The potatoes should be tasty. This will play a huge role in the common dish, you'll see.
  • While the potatoes are boiled, we prepare a dish for displaying ready-made boats. We cover it with any bag so that the exposed boats do not stick to the plate.
  • Preparing the mold. It is very convenient to take a yogurt glass. It has smooth edges, not bent upwards. This makes it easier to remove the finished boats. You can take glasses, the main thing is the size. The mold should not be large, because it is this portion of the fur coat that will have to be eaten. Although ... we cut it in half and the boat kept its shape perfectly.
  • To the size of the mold with a large overlap on the edges, cut off the cling film and cover the mold with it.
  • When the potatoes are ready, remove the herbs, drain the water. Dry the potatoes a little.
  • DO NOT ADD ANYTHING!
  • Now you need to turn the potatoes into mashed potatoes with a crush or potato grinder (not a blender).

  • We make the puree as smooth as possible without lumps. Without letting it cool down, start forming boats. If the potatoes cool down, they will freeze immediately.
