Ingredients

cabbage 1/2 head of cabbage
carrot 1 PC
bulb onions 1 PC
garlic 2 tooth
caraway 1 tsp
prepared granular mustard 1 tbsp. l
Dill seeds 1 tsp
nutmeg pinch
tomato paste 1-2 tbsp. l
vegetable oil for frying
salt taste
pepper taste

Cooking method

  • Stewed cabbage in Munich styleCut the cabbage into cubes.

A very successful stewed cabbage recipe. I found the recipe in a special issue of some culinary magazine five years ago, since then I have only been carcassing cabbage.

Do you think the Peking one will do if there is no white one? Or is it better not to rush and cook strictly according to the recipe?

julia007, I tried to cook white cabbage today for brunch. Tasty, no doubt, but Peking (its thick parts) was much tastier.
