Baked seabass

Ingredients

Seabass (sea bass)
Extra virgin olive oil
Thyme (rosemary) fresh
Lime (preferred) or lemon
Sea salt
Garlic (some and optional)

Cooking method

  • Mix the grated lime zest, salt and minced garlic clove with olive oil.
  • Baked seabass
  • Cover the baking sheet with baking paper, put the peeled and gutted fish on it, we will marinate the fish right on the baking sheet.
  • Cut the skin diagonally on both sides, not too deeply.
  • Baked seabass
  • We rub our flavored oil into the fish and spread it on a pillow of several sprigs of thyme or rosemary (you can use both options at once).
  • Baked seabass
  • Preheat the oven at maximum t. If you suddenly have a baking stone, great! you can bake on it in some form instead of a baking sheet. While the oven is heating, the fish is marinated.
  • We bake under the top heating element or under the grill for no more than 15 minutes.
  • Before serving, let the fish rest for 5-10 minutes and pour with lime juice (optional).

How many minutes is it marinated?

Make cuts with a sharp knife?
Arka
Marinate briefly while heating the oven.
And the cuts are of course sharp, otherwise you will be sawing, dear mother! and you will saw through to the vertebra (which, by the way, is not a tragedy at all)

It is with poppy seeds! I thought so! And then the sea bass in fishnet stockings in the net!
Arka
Well, because of you I wanted buns ...
Should I go what to do?
Svettika
Nata, run, do and share with us! Apparently, and we wanted buns after the fish!

Natasha, yummy !!! So maaanit me your seabass!
Arka
Oh, Tanyulya, I know what you mean! It beckons me every week, mostly on Thursdays.

Here one supplier brings chilled food every Wednesday and starts the sale from Wednesday evening, so I order fresh food for Thursday morning!

I take it for the little ones and steam it for lunch, and for dinner I use it flavored with all sorts of explosive aromas.
