$ vetLana,
Sveta, thanks for the idea, I love olives, but I eat brown rice less often than I could. Maybe with the help of olives I will start introducing it into a regular diet (I'm sure that Phillips small will cope with this.)

brendabaker, Oksana, the fact of the matter is that the taste of brown rice is not very good, but it turns out very tasty with olives. Try it.

$ vetLana, the idea was born impromptu (as everything is good, however))) - at home there was somehow brown, steamed long-grain and round. For the sake of experiment, I took 2 parts of the usual rice and 1 part of brown, mixed, washed, added salt, filled with water 1: 1.5 - and in a double boiler (or cartoon) - it turns out delicious! You can mix more varieties, but that's a matter of taste. I mixed the 3 that were available, and used it in the form of a mixture (for a side dish, meatballs), although lately I also do brown in half with some. The whole point is that brown rice is unprocessed, unpolished (and healthy - it contains more fiber in comparison with processed varieties). But it is rather unusual for us to eat it - such rice takes longer to cook, does not boil over, the rice remains strong and dense. But in a company with other varieties, this is just a find, I am glad of such an experiment, and I also hope that such a combination will take root in someone else. Try it! And your opinion on this matter is very interesting - is it tasty or not?)))
