" So we will have a roll of rabbit and duck meat, or rather, there will be a duck in a rabbit.

Then put on a wire rack and bake in the oven at a temperature of 85 * C, until the temperature inside the roll reaches 70-72 * C. Depending on the thickness of the roll, this takes 80-120 minutes. Cool the finished roll under a cold shower (you can use ice in a bag) and send it to the refrigerator for 6-8 hours.

Irina, regarding the film - this is a special edible film for rolls. It swells during cooking and turns into jelly, but more often it is not felt inside the roll. The mesh helps in the formation of the roll, holds its shape and helps to hold the layers of the product together.
A casing for a roll, I don’t think it will work, because for a roll with a length of 20-25 cm you need a film cut of about 30x40 cm. The casing will not give such dimensions, does it?

Jeanne, surprisingly, it is not dry at all. Dryness was expected, though. Our rabbits apparently differ in fat content, this can be seen from the structure of the minced meat. In general, me and my family were satisfied with diet. If you have rabbits at all goner dietary, you can add fat, not prohibited.
