Soup with champignons and barley in a multicooker Steba DD2

Ingredients

Champignon 300 g
Pearl barley 70 g
Bulb onions 1 PC
Carrot 1 PC
Celery stalk 2 pcs
Garlic 2 slices
Potatoes (small) 2 -3 pcs
Ground ginger 1 tsp
Liquid (water / broth / water + broth) 2.5-3 l
Salt pepper taste

Cooking method

  • I propose to cook an unexpectedly delicious soup with mushrooms and barley. It can be cooked in vegetable broth, or in water, or like mine, in meat broth in half with water. I cooked in MV.
  • Start the FRYING program.
  • Chop the mushrooms and lightly fry in a little oil on the FRYING program.
  • Put the mushrooms from the MV saucepan into a separate bowl.
  • Fry chopped onions, garlic, carrots and celery in the same saucepan.
  • Add ground ginger, stir, turn off the program.
  • Chop the potatoes and add to the pot.
  • Then add washed pearl barley, mushrooms, pour in liquid, add salt and pepper.
  • Switch on the SOUP program, pressure 0.7, time 20 minutes.
  • After the end of the program, wait until the pressure drops and the lid is unlocked.

Ludmila, you are welcome!
I highly recommend it in this version, without changing anything.

Check mark, well, I'm so glad that I have the same Shtebochka as you!

My dear worker, she served everything for me on a plate - both the recipe and the soup ... It remains only to prepare such a sunny autumnal, tasty and most importantly healthy soup!

And as always, spices! I love (both you and them)

Thank you!!!

I'll go soak barley for the night - everything is at home

Photos are cool. I believe that soup is the most difficult dish to play on a photo.

Gala, girls, and if the barley is not soaked, how much to cook in the head
Natusya, cook as much as I wrote on the soup program for 20 minutes. I did not pre-soak the barley. Before cooking the soup, I washed the barley and filled it with water, and it was soaked while I was preparing the soup. You can still steam it with boiling water for this time, for complete confidence. Probably, it also depends on the pearl barley, I usually have Mistral or Makfa.

Gala,

And that I hadn't thought of crossing barley and mushrooms in the soup before? Galina, thanks for the idea!
Svetlenki
Check mark, thank you! Great soup! Ginger very successfully sets off the taste of mushrooms, pearl barley is also in place. In general, my husband really liked it.

It turned out not so sunny, because I was severely limited in the use of vegetable oil in cooking - the carrot did not give off color

Girls, cook!

And, yes, the celery was not at home, I had to replace it with parsnips, threw another handful of dry spoilage (soaked and some water was also there from them)

Kate, highly recommend and definitely with ginger Here and Sveta is talking

Svetochka, thank you for the prompt report and photo! I also respect parsnips very much. I never add much oils, and only when frying in MV it is required minimally.

There are mushrooms, there is barley, there is ginger ... I'll cook!
Wait for the report

Gal, are you not offended ??? Well, I have to think of at least some kind of "excuse" why you have soup with a grain of gold, but I do not. But I will strive for the ideal!
ninza
Galya, and if you cook in another cartoon, soak the pearl barley overnight? Thanks for the idea.

Sveta!!! What are you doing ?!

Galya, and if you cook in another cartoon, soak the pearl barley overnight?
Nina, if cooked in a regular slow cooker (not in a pressure cooker), then it is better to soak the pearl barley overnight.
Lerele
Gala, report-cooked soup. Slightly changed well, just a little.
I cooked a kilogram of meat, so richly, I didn't fry anything, I put it that way, then I thought, added a bit of bacon for dukhmanost, tried it, thought ... and added a couple of pickles
In short, Galayour soup is delicious
And pearl barley and mushrooms are definitely there.
Rarerka
Irish, you love to do everything is exactly on prescription
Straight pedant and perfectionist
Gala
Lerele, yeah ... Now you cooked this soup according to the recipe! It's good that I left the barley and mushrooms after all
