Cooking method

  • I'll tell you right away - hate I do not like recipes where measures are in glasses, I practically do not use such. There was an exception yesterday. I was going home and decided to bake a cake for tea. The daughter praised the carrot from some coffee shop. I decided to try it. This recipe won over with its simplicity of execution. It takes a maximum of five minutes for manual kneading and ten minutes to rub the carrots and fry the nuts a little.

  • In a bowl, mix eggs, sugar, butter and stir with a whisk, add a spoonful of sour cream
  • In another bowl, mix flour, spices, soda, baking powder, dried apricots with a dry whisk, cut into raisin-sized pieces and walnuts slightly fried and crushed with a rolling pin in a bag.
  • Combine the contents of both bowls, mix, add finely grated carrots and send them to a preheated oven at 170 degrees with convection for 60-70 minutes.

  • I have a detachable form of 28 cm. I cut a circle out of baking paper and a strip for the sides at the bottom. Can be oiled and dusted with flour
  • After 50 minutes, I checked it with a skewer, a little sticky, left it for another 10 minutes until the stick was dry.
  • The cake was baked almost even, slightly swollen in the middle and I put a wooden board on it for 10 minutes
  • By the time I reached the house, the cake had completely cooled down. I wanted to whip sour cream with sugar (I was still thinking about a cake for tea), but there was no sour cream in the house, I was too lazy to go to the store. I had to make a delicious air cream, in which I added a spoonful of Limoncello, which greatly enriched the aftertaste)) I poured a lot of mini marshmallows into the cream between the cakes, my daughter loves them very much)
