Stewed cabbage in a multicooker Scarlett

Ingredients

cabbage 0.5 middle fork
bulb onions 1 PC
carrot 1 PC
Tom. paste 2 tbsp. l.
water half a glass
salt, pepper, spices taste

Cooking method

  • Chop the cabbage, knead, put in the MV saucepan. Add grated carrots, chopped onions. Dilute the tomato paste with water, plus salt, spices to taste.
  • Extinguishing mode. I have MV Scarlet 411 for 750 W, the default Extinguishing mode is 1 hour. But you can cook in CF of other brands, just adjust if necessary time, based on the power and characteristics of your CF.
  • Stir a couple of times during cooking.
  • You can add bell pepper if desired, or whoever is used to that.
  • Can be cooked with minced meat or chicken. For example, according to my mood, I put 3 pieces of chicken thighs directly from the freezer, without defrosting them to the bottom of the multicooker, but vegetables on top. It turns out delicious too!
  • Simple, inexpensive in terms of preparation time. You can change the recipe as you wish - add, for example, potatoes or remove carrots, you can fry the onions and carrots first.
  • I put what I have at the moment and don’t worry if something is not there. The only thing is that this recipe will turn into something else if you do not put cabbage and tomato paste

I stew cabbage almost like you, only instead of tomato paste I put 2 tbsp. l Hains ketchup, it gives the cabbage a spice.

Only today I stewed cabbage with pork, pepper, onions, tomatoes and tomato paste in Shteba. True its sour. I oversalted it a little, did not add salt when cooking and everything is fine. Truth added honey agarics from the freezer. The idea itself is good. You get a delicious dish without hassle and you can get a new taste by changing the ingredients every time. I didn't add a drop of water, nothing burned.

There is no need to add water to sauerkraut, since it is already juicy. But if it's just fresh cabbage, then it seems to me better to add a little water
