Granola

Granola

Ingredients

oat flakes 220 g
sugar 55 g
honey 125 g
walnuts 100 g
vegetable oil 40 g
vanilla
cinnamon 1 tsp
salt pinch

Cooking method

  • Well, as agreed, I am exhibiting the granola recipe separately.
  • What is Granola? Granola is a free-flowing sweet nut-oatmeal "crunchy". You can eat it with a spoon just like that.
  • Granola is charming when combined with cottage cheese, yoghurt and fruit.
  • Cooking granola - little wisdom:
  • - mix all the ingredients with a spoon and place in a thin layer on a baking sheet.
  • Granola
  • - Dry at 120C with convection until tender (about 40 minutes), stirring occasionally and breaking the pieces.
  • Nuts should be pre-fried. To do this, put them on a baking sheet in a thin layer and send them to the oven at 180C for 10-15 minutes. Cool, peel, chop coarsely.
  • The finished state of granola is dry crumb.
  • Granola
  • Granola allows all kinds of variations - walnuts are replaced with hazelnuts, sesame seeds and even seeds (tested by our girls, for which many thanks!)
  • Here's an example of my breakfast-lunch-dinner:
  • Granola
  • Curd with cherries, granola and nesquik
  • What I don't recommend is adding dried fruits to granola. They dry out, burn and spoil the taste. It is better to mix them with the finished granola.
  • In general, granola is a prelude to my most favorite and fantastic oatmeal cookie:
  • Granola

Long ago addicted to granola. I add everything that comes to hand: seeds, nuts, dried fruits, dried fruits. In general, a flight for imagination. In the evening I pour in yogurt with cereals and in the morning it remains to enjoy a delicious treat.

True, from dried fruits I add only prunes and dried apricots. They do not have time to burn while they are cooking in the oven, because I try to take them moist.

Here they are
Seven-year plan
And I stuffed this granola into the apples when I baked them! ...
And on top, half a teaspoon of honey (the apples were very sour ...)
It turned out very tasty !!! The child ate it, and it cracked behind his ears !!!
She said what happened !!!
So that , Olya, thanks again !!!

Svetlana, yes to your health! And to you and your child! Didn't it get soaked when baking?
Seven-year plan
Of course it became soft from apples ... but delicious !!!!
The child generally separated everything from the apple skin and stirred it ... and then ate ...
It turned out to be applesauce with filler. ...
And tasty and healthy!

Olga, and without convection can you do? Purely theoretically, I think that it is possible, but in practice ... And at what temperature then dry and how long?
