Ingredients

Wheat flour 200 g

vanilla

Baking powder 3 tsp

Butter 55 g
Kefir 120 g
White chocolate (for glaze) 115 g
Vegetable oil (for glaze) 20 ml

Cooking method

  • The recipe is for 8-9 cups
  • So, step by step:
  • 1. Mix the liquid ingredients: mix the proteins and the red dye in the container
  • 2. In a separate bowl, mix dry ingredients: sifted flour, sugar, vanilla, baking powder, cocoa powder and salt
  • 3. In a mixer bowl, mix sunflower and butter (room temperature) for 1 min. We don't need absolute uniformity. Add dry ingredients and kefir. Mix on a slow speed until all dry ingredients are moisturized. Increase the speed to medium and continue whisking for 2 minutes.
  • 4. Slowly pour the liquid ingredients into the mixer bowl. It will take about a minute. We wait until our dough is smooth.
  • 5. Pour the dough into a greased form, level its surface and send it to the oven, preheated to 180C, for about 40 minutes. We check the readiness with a wooden skewer. A dry, clean skewer indicates that the cake is ready.
  • 6. Take the cake out of the oven and let cool in the form for 5-10 minutes. We relax the walls and carefully take out our pastries. Cool on the wire rack.
  • 7. Prepare the icing: chop the chocolate into small pieces and place in a water bath. Add vegetable oil. When the chocolate begins to melt, begin to gently stir the mixture, being careful not to introduce air bubbles and overheat the chocolate. Cool the glaze.
  • 8. Apply the icing to the cooled cake.

Marina22, this volume is really 8-9 cups. My shape is wide (about 28 cm), but not high. Therefore, focus better on volume.
