Chicken stuffed with flour

Chicken stuffed with flour

Ingredients

Chilled chicken not less than 2 kg
Flour 1.5 - 2 cups (250)
Bulb onions 2 pcs.
Margarine 200 gr.
Any mushrooms (not necessary - my revision) 300 gr.
salt and spices on vks
Any marinade for chicken

Cooking method

  • For the photo, I immediately apologize. Then maybe I'll change it. The final, beautiful, furnished and tortured - died with a flash drive and did not recover. And since I have been dreaming of exhibiting this recipe all these years and constantly postponing it, there may not be another opportunity to share. There are few pictures for the master class. But here everything is simple - we do not remove the skin.
  • This is our "signature family dish"))) But we do not cook often, since of course the chicken parts are more convenient. But for any holiday, my mother always asks for such a chicken.
  • Products are minimal and are in every home.
  • The recipe is from the category of Soviet. At that time, they were not just not afraid of margarine - my parents used it to replace their butter. The oil felt fine and painful to me.
  • So this is what we have
  • Chicken stuffed with flour
  • Take a pack of "Sunny" or "Creamy" margarine (believe me, there is already enough for butter, but it tastes better) in the pan. There are also two onions in random chopping (as usual, for frying onions) and chopped mushrooms. This is already my revision. It is possible without them. And all this is fried over low heat until the onion is transparent. DO NOT overcook !!!!
  • Chicken stuffed with flourChicken stuffed with flour
  • At this time, you clean the bird: cut off the tail (if you cut off) the excess offal and fat from the inside. Take care of your skin. My chicken was bought a long time ago, pickled like this and placed in a vacuum. Marinated for a week in the refrigerator. But this is also an innovation. So let's omit. Until then, simply rub with salt, spices and garlic. You can use your favorite marinade.
  • Onions with mushrooms in margarine are fried and cooled. Take salt and salt the fat (margarine with onions) a little - you don't need much - then add. Pour 1.5 cups of flour there (in margarine with onions and mushrooms) and knead, in the same place, in a pan, into a homogeneous fatty mass. If necessary, add flour. It (the mass) should become a homogeneous lump. This mass should be tasted with salt and salt, if necessary - it shouldn't be tastelessrather deliciously salted.
  • Chicken stuffed with flour
  • Stuffing. Put the bird in an indecent position: legs up and spread))
  • Chicken stuffed with flour
  • And push the resulting "dough" into it, completely filling the entire cavity inside.
  • Then you take a needle and thread and sew up her ass. It's a good idea to put a piece of lettuce, cabbage on top of the flour, and then sew it up - this is so that the flour does not come out. I really don't bother. We do the same with the throat.
  • Chicken stuffed with flour
  • Result:
  • Chicken stuffed with flour
  • Pour half a glass of water into an ordinary aluminum rooster. Lay the chicken breast-side up (it's fat)
  • cover and for an hour for 250 in a preheated oven. Then remove the lid, turn the bird over and under the grill. Take it out and be sure to let it stand for 30 minutes under the lid.
  • The main thing is to have time to pull out the thread before it is eaten)))
  • Everything seems to be simple and even somehow ... modest, I would say. Not stuffed with anything special, but more juicy and tasty chicken in any other form I have not tried. For flour there is even a fight))) Who loses weight flour can not eat.
  • Probably, when I have been cooking chicken like this for 10 years - everything seems so simple to me ...
  • Usually we serve warm, but not immediately with the heat. When warm, the filling will be soft. I cut the chicken without paying attention to it and if I serve it, I put it on the potatoes with the filling, the filling will fall out - it's not scary, put it on the potatoes - it will be delicious. The chicken may still linger, and the filling will be scooped out along with the potatoes))) With buckwheat and pasta it also goes
  • When for himself and immediately it is not eaten (the husband will rip out his legs, and I’m a piece of breast) and the carcass remains for tomorrow, the filling hardens and becomes solid - it can be cut. Sometimes I just like to eat a piece of cold flour)))

Note

Cook with love, your Tumanchik

It seems that I did not find it on the site, unless of course they called her what thread Leblyad

Irisha, what if you make the breast (or thighs) under such a delicious sauce? It's not gonna go? Can be in pots, for example. It's just that there is a lot of whole chicken for us)))

Here with giblets is another recipe. liver + heart + rice + mushrooms and fried onions. All there and exactly the same! And this one is better as it is! This is just flour!

Perhaps you can marinate in kefir with spices, and then push this "taka" into it and into the oven? : girl-th: Mist, what a delicious recipe! Thank you!

Tumanchik, Irina, I'm with a report. I cooked a chicken, I even had to get out of the granny's bins. Pickled her just salt and spices. I liked the chicken filling - dochunya said that it looked like a mushroom pie, by the way, we also liked the cold one. So, the recipe will definitely take root!
