Cooking method

  • As everyone knows, making lean soups is easy, but such a soup will be delicious only if you choose the right spices. This is especially true for those who observe long fasts, because they want soups to taste varied, even if they are made from the same products.
  • I offer one of the options for making lean cabbage soup (the result of my experiments with various spices and their combination). I want to note that I experimented with spices from different companies, but settled on Kotanyi, since I like the dishes prepared with them the most.
  • Cut the onion into cubes, three carrots on a medium grater, cut the white and juicy parts of Peking cabbage into cubes. Put vegetables in the multicooker bowl, add vegetable oil. We set the Baking program for 20 minutes. Fry vegetables for ten minutes under a closed lid. After 10 minutes add spices from the Kotanyi Chicken Mill (sea salt, paprika, garlic, fenugreek, onion, pepper), fry for another 10 minutes with the lid open, stirring occasionally. There should be enough spices, vegetables should taste quite spicy and aromatic.
  • Installing the program “Extinguishing. Soup "for 30 minutes. Pour 500 ml of boiling water from a kettle into the multicooker bowl, add potatoes and soft green parts of Peking cabbage. Add Kotanyi seasoning "For Ukrainian borscht" (salt, black pepper, dried tomato flakes, sweet paprika, parsley, garlic, allspice), one allspice pea, one tiny bay leaf, a little salt. We focus on the degree of readiness of the potatoes, if necessary, increase the cooking time (I did not have to do this).
  • After 25 minutes taste, add salt and spices if necessary. Add garlic chopped in a press, chopped parsley and dill. Cook for another 5 minutes until the end of the program.
  • The cabbage soup turned out to be tender, aromatic and very tasty.
