yeast 10gr
vegetable oil (for chocolate dough) 1h l
vanilla sugar 1 sachet

Cooking method

  • She came up with the recipe herself, since there was only a picture.
  • The dough was kneaded in a Kenwood food processor.
  • I crumbled the yeast into the bowl of the food processor, sprinkled it with sugar and left for 15 minutes.
  • I added warm milk, mixed and added wheat flour, butter, 1 tbsp of mustard oil, salt and kneaded the dough.
  • The dough turned out, it's so sticky, but that's what we need.

  • I left the dough alone for 30-40 minutes and again turned on the kneading for ten minutes.
  • Divided the dough into two not quite equal parts. She put a little more than half in a separate bowl, added a little flour, rounded it and covered with foil.
  • In the dough that remained in the bowl, I added whole grain flour and 0.5 tsp of cocoa and turned on the kneading.
  • A little less than half was separated from the resulting dough, rounded, put in a bowl and covered with foil.
  • In the remaining dough in the bowl, add 2 hours of cocoa, 1 hour of butter and mix until smooth.
  • As a result, I got three pieces of dough of different colors, white, gray and brown.

  • Leave the dough warm until it grows 1.5 times.
  • The dough has risen, fluffed up and we begin to work with it.
  • First, take the gray dough, roll it into a rectangle and twist it into a sausage.
  • We divide the sausage with a knife into two parts, each part into three more parts and every sixth into two parts. It turns out 12 small pieces.
  • We also divide the white and brown dough into 12 pieces.

  • We take a piece of gray dough, knead it into a small rectangle, fold it along and roll it out with a rolling pin. We twist and roll it in a long, slightly smaller form in which we will bake.

  • We also roll out a brown piece of dough, put a gray strip of dough into it and pinch it.

  • We also roll out a piece of white dough and pinch a chocolate strip into it.

  • We put all 12 strips in a greased form, cover with foil and leave warm, until they are increased by 1.5 times.

  • Beat the egg with milk, greased the bread and set it to bake in a preheated oven.
  • We bake until tender. I cannot say at what temperature and how long, since my oven is rare and has long been asking for scrap.
  • Take out the bread and cool on the wire rack.
