Flip Pie with Rhubarb and Cardamom

Ingredients

Butter 25-30 gr.
Sugar* 70 gr.
Rhubarb 200-300 gr.
Dough:
Butter (room t) 100 g
Sugar 100 g
Eggs (SB) 2 pcs.
Flour 130-140 gr.
Baking powder 1 tsp
Vanillin on the tip of a knife
Ground cardamom 1 tsp

Cooking method

  • Grease a mold with a diameter of 24-25 cm with butter, sprinkle evenly with sugar. Top with rhubarb, peeled and cut into pieces.
  • * I have regular sugar, white. If you want a caramel crust, then you need to use brown sugar. Or melt the butter in a mold (frying pan), then add sugar and bring it to caramel. Put the rhubarb on top of the caramel, then the dough.
  • For the dough, beat the butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat eggs one at a time, beating well after each. Mix flour with baking powder, vanilla and cardamom, sift. Gradually add to the butter and egg mixture. Put the dough on the rhubarb, flatten. Bake at 180 degrees for 30-35 minutes until dry. Let the cake cool and turn over onto a plate.
