Cooking method

  • Estofado is a very thick meat soup with vegetables.
  • Estofado in Spanish means steamed, stewed. (estofado 1.appl. common steamed, stewed)
  • So today we have a stew with potatoes.
  • I cooked in Multicuisine DeLonghi, but you can cook in anything, in a multicooker, on the stove.
  • I had this experiment on cooking a liquid dish in Kuzin.
  • First, I'll tell you how to do it, then how I did it.
  • According to the recipe, the meat is cut into pieces, onions, garlic, olive oil, tomato paste, vinegar are added, everything is poured with water and stewed until the meat softens.
  • My meat has already been stewed until almost cooked (I make preparations from beef in advance).
  • I put pieces of meat in the head, I don't salt, I don't add water, and on the meat for 25-30 minutes. It turns out a blank for either soups, or stews, or stews, in short, whatever comes to mind. I specially make the meat almost cooked so that it does not fall apart in the dish. I put it in bags and in the freezer.
  • Just yesterday I was making a preparation, so I took about 800 grams of meat for estofado.
  • Since my meat was almost ready, I changed the recipe a little.
  • I put onions and carrots in Kuzina, poured oil, multicooker program, 4 power.
  • Attention!!! On this program, the spatula does not work immediately !!! It should be so !!

  • All this took 25 minutes, I added up to 40 minutes.

Note
