Schnitzel Sun

Ingredients

minced pork 500 gr.
stale wheat loaf 70 gr.
milk (buttermilk, water) 100 ml.
bulb onions 70 -100 gr.
chicken eggs (preferably small) 6 pcs.
hard cheese 100 g
salt, spices, herbs taste

Cooking method

  • Soak a loaf in milk, clean and finely chop the onion, add it to the minced meat, send one small egg, spices there and mix everything thoroughly.
  • We collect the resulting minced meat in the palm of your hand, sculpt the cutlet in the form of a boat (you should get 5 pieces) and put it on a greased baking sheet. In the "boat", using a spoon, make a large depression and send the baking sheet to the oven, preheated to 180-200C, for 20 minutes.
  • We take out the slightly baked schnitzels from the oven, pour grated cheese into the recesses, break one egg there (I only have large eggs all the time, therefore, so that the protein does not leak out, I simply separate it from the yolk in advance and put only the yolk in the schnitzel). Sprinkle cheese around the yolk again. We bake for another 10-15 minutes. The time depends on what kind of yolk you want to get and on the capabilities of your oven.
  • Serve ready-made schnitzels with herbs, potatoes, or whatever your heart desires.
