Potato casserole with saury

Ingredients

Potatoes (medium) 5 pieces.
Saury 1 can
Bulb onions 2 pcs.
Butter 80 g
Egg 2 pcs.
Hard cheese 100 g
Vegetable oil for frying 3 tbsp. l
Salt taste

Cooking method

  • Boil potatoes in salted water.
  • While the potatoes are boiling, chop the onion finely and fry it in vegetable oil.
  • Drain the potatoes and puree.
  • Grind the saury together with the liquid with a fork.
  • Add butter to the puree. Stir well until the butter melts.
  • Add eggs, sauteed onions and saury. Mix everything well.
  • Place in a greased dish and sprinkle with grated cheese.
  • Potato casserole with saury
  • Bake for 30-40 minutes at 200 degrees.

Note

To make it easier to get the casserole out of the mold, I cover it with foil, along with the foil, and take it out of the mold, and then carefully transfer it to the dish.
You can eat it warm or cold. I like the casserole better when cold.
