Cooking method

  • 1 glass - 250ml.
  • Today I have a pie from my childhood - a pie with bird cherry.

  • Pour 1 glass of milk into a saucepan and boil. Pour bird cherry into hot milk, stir well, add sugar and let it steam for a couple of minutes on the stove. Set aside.
  • I made the dough like my mom, she always did it by eye, I did too, but today I measured everything. And she did it in a bread maker.
  • Pour warm milk into a saucepan of a bread machine, put 25 grams of yeast and a couple of tablespoons of sugar, and a couple of glasses of flour.
  • We include any program for mixing. As soon as the dough has stirred well, turn off the bread maker.
  • We leave the dough for half an hour. She will seethe, rise.
  • Add eggs, sugar, salt. Turn on the dough program and start adding flour. first one glass, then the second.
  • In total, we got 4 glasses of flour. Here we add butter, the bread maker interferes with the dough, we look at the consistency, how much flour we still need to add to make a soft bun.
  • My dough took about 5 glasses of flour, but each time the amount of flour is different, it depends on the eggs and on the humidity in the apartment.
  • It turns out a lot of dough, I didn't need so much today, so as soon as the kneading was over, I immediately took out the dough, separated half and put it in a bag in the freezer. It perfectly tolerates freezing.
  • The remaining half was returned to the bread maker to stand.
  • When the program ends, take out the dough for cutting. It is fluffy, with bubbles and squeaks when rolling, see what bubbles are on it
