active rye sourdough (100%) 3 tbsp. l. with a slide
Wheat flour 6 tbsp. l.
sugar 2 tbsp. l.
salt 1 tsp

Cooking method

  • We prepare the dough in advance - it should fit.
  • my leaven was very sour (it stood a little) and I added 0.5 tsp of soda to the dough.
  • Leave the dough to come up, covering it from drafts for about 1.5 hours - a foam should form on top.
  • bake as usual, just get used to it - rye dough is sticky and more brittle than wheat.
  • Nothing like that, delicious, with rye sourness. These pancakes are not for jam - they are delicious with fish, or just with sour cream.
