Cabbage cutlets with rice and flaxseed egg (lean)

Ingredients

chopped white cabbage 600 grams
dry rice (I have round) 100g
flax seed 1 tbsp. the spoon
flax water 3 tbsp. spoons
green onion small bundle
salt taste
ground cumin taste
ground black pepper taste
vegetable oil for frying
bread crumbs (semolina, corn flour) for breading

Cooking method

  • Rinse the rice to clean water.
  • Boil a large amount of salted water until tender and drain in a colander.
  • Chop the cabbage finely. I shredded the Giant.
  • Grind flax with a coffee grinder, pour into a container, add water, stir and leave for 30 minutes.
  • Finely chop the green onion.
  • Put the cabbage in a saucepan, add 5-6 tbsp. spoons of water.
  • Cover with a lid and simmer over low heat until soft.
  • Add rice, flaxseed egg, onion, spices and salt to the cabbage.
  • Mix everything well.
  • If it seems to you that the minced meat is liquid, then add a little semolina and let it swell. You can put bread crumbs. I didn't add anything.
  • Shape the cutlets with wet hands and bread them. I breaded with cornmeal.
  • Fry on both sides until golden brown over medium heat.
