Fish baked on a vegetable pillow, wrapped in parchment

Ingredients

Per serving:
trout steak 1 PC
squash 180-200 g
soy sauce 1 tbsp. l
salt, freshly ground pepper taste
thyme or rosemary 1-2 twigs
lemon for serving optional

Cooking method

  • Cut the zucchini into thin, translucent slices. Lay out "tiles" on a sheet of parchment. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Lay out the steak. Sprinkle with soy sauce, if necessary, add a little salt and pepper. Put spicy herbs on top of the fish (I don't like rosemary, so I did it with thyme).
  • Connect the edges of the parchment paper as if you were making a dumpling.

  • Bake in an oven preheated to 210-220C degrees for 18-20 minutes, depending on the thickness of the steak.
  • Carefully (hot steam inside!) Cut the parchment and serve immediately.
  • Sprinkle lemon juice on the fish if desired.
