Czech soup Mushroom kulaida (pressure cooker Steba DD2)

Ingredients

Fresh mushrooms (I have frozen porcini) 400 g
chicken broth 250 g
Water 1 l
Bulb 1 PC.
Potatoes medium 5 pieces.
Sour cream 200-300 g
Flour 2-3 st. l.
Caraway pinch
Salt taste
Egg 1 PC.
Fresh dill

Cooking method

  • Peel the potatoes, cut into cubes and boil in a liter of slightly salted water. Add the caraway seeds, finely chopped onion and finely chopped mushrooms. When the potatoes are soft, stir in the sour cream and flour. Let's add the broth. Let's cook a little. Add the egg and dill to the finished soup.
  • This is the original recipe found on the Radio Prague website ( 🔗).
  • I cooked in the Shteba DD2 pressure cooker.
  • Peeled the potatoes, cut them into cubes, thawed the mushrooms and finely cut into slices, the onions into small cubes. I poured broth into the pan (there was a stock), added cold water, poured potatoes, onions, mushrooms, added a good pinch of caraway seeds - set the Soup mode to 0.7 for 20 minutes (probably it could have been less). At the end of the regime, I waited until the temperature dropped to 90 degrees, opened and added 200 g of sour cream with 2 tbsp. l. flour. Stir well with a whisk until the lumps of sour cream dissolve. Added chopped dill. She let it brew for 15 minutes and that's it. The egg is placed here in slices in plates, I did not add this time.
  • Very aromatic and tasty!

I tried this soup in a restaurant for locals on the outskirts of Prague somewhere in the private sector. Unfortunately, the photo does not convey the taste and aroma. My sour cream was very thick, so there were small dumplings in the pan; did not think to dilute it with the same broth. But it did not spoil the taste! A good combination of mushrooms, potatoes, sour cream and caraway seeds. It turned out to be a very tasty soup, although I cooked it with oyster mushrooms, for which any self-respecting Czech woman would most likely wrinkle her Czech nose. The mushrooms in the freezer also turned out to be only half of the portion, they added dry ones. But the idea of ​​adding caraway seeds and flour with sour cream was very impressive.
