Kissel (pressure cooker Polaris 0305)

Ingredients

Fruit or berries 600 g
Sugar (or sweetener) 25 tablets (sugar-to taste)
Starch 8 Art. l.
Water 3.5l + 250g

Cooking method

  • You can take any fruit or berries for jelly. Can be fresh, can be frozen. I had frozen cherries and red currants.
  • I put 600 gr in a saucepan. If your berries come across with twigs, do not worry. When you pour the water, the twigs will float up. They can be removed with a strainer or spoon.
  • Kissel (pressure cooker Polaris 0305)
  • I pour 3.5 liters of water. I add 25 tablets of sweetener (I have not boiled compotes with sugar for a long time. So add sugar to your taste). I put on the MANUAL mode - PRESSURE 1 - 3 MINUTES!
  • In a cup I mix 8 tbsp. l. starch (I take starch at the rate of 2 tbsp. l per 1 liter of water) with 250 ml of cold water. Stir until smooth.
  • Kissel (pressure cooker Polaris 0305)
  • After the end of the program, I immediately release the pressure forcibly (if this is not done, the fruit will creep into porridge). I open the lid and turn on the FRYING - PRESSURE 3.
  • Kissel (pressure cooker Polaris 0305)
  • As soon as the compote boils, slowly pour in the starch in a thin stream, stirring continuously so that there are no lumps.
  • Kissel (pressure cooker Polaris 0305)
  • As soon as the jelly boils, I turn off the pressure cooker and take out the saucepan.
  • You can drink both hot and cold.

We missed this delicious recipe somehow. Although probably everyone knows how to cook jelly anyway. And I did it for the first time. Huge thanksgiving !!!! I took the recipe as a basis, since there is no pressure cooker. But it turned out great in the multicooker. Made with fresh currants and added a little raspberry. The smell and color are amazing. And it is done very quickly, I drink it now hot despite the heat, well, I like it very much

Tabita, I am very glad that the recipe was useful to you!
Yes, many people know how to cook jelly, but the recipe is designed for those who have just purchased a pressure cooker and still do not know which side to approach it. When I bought mine, I was VERY rescued by these very simple recipes for every day!

You may ask, which starch is preferable - potato or corn?
I want jelly too
inka_kot
Ksyu-juha, I have at home only potato always available. So I do it with him.

inka_kot, Inessa, thanks for the help, if I come out tomorrow and cook.

Inessa, And you don't remove the berries and brew jelly directly with them? They are not visible in the photo in the glass.
inka_kot
garvich, do not delete. I cook right with them. If you look closely in the glass you can see. I like to eat them later in jelly. )

(y) Thanks, and I bring it from my family, it turned out deliciously ... for lack of a pressure cooker, I cooked simply., there were strawberries and currants frozen, thanks
