Chicken Avocado Tortilla by Gordon Ramsay

Ingredients

Fillet (large) chicken breast 3 pcs
Olive oil 3 tbsp. l.
Juice of 1 lime *
Caraway 1 tsp
Coriander 1 tsp
Bulb onions 1 PC
Red pepper 1 PC
Clustered tomatoes (medium) 6 pcs
Avocado 2 pcs
Cilantro greens 1 tbsp. l.
Greek yogurt (I have regular natural) 125 ml
Salt taste
Tortillas 8 pcs

Cooking method

  • Cut the chicken into strips.
  • Grind cumin and coriander in a mortar or grind in a coffee grinder.
  • Mix oil, lime juice, cumin, coriander. Put the chicken in the mixture, stir and leave to marinate in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
  • * Instead of lime juice, I took 1 tbsp. l. white balsamic vinegar.
  • Peel the onion, chop coarsely.
  • Pepper to remove seeds, cut into small strips.
  • Coarsely chop the tomatoes.
  • Put the chicken in a well-heated large skillet with a thick bottom, fry quickly, stirring until the color changes.
  • Add pepper, onion, half a tomato, simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Place remaining tomatoes and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, season with salt to taste.
  • Peel the avocado, remove the pit, chop, add to the chicken, stir.
  • Chop the cilantro greens and add to the chicken, mix.
  • I baked tortillas according to this recipe.

  • If you have ready-made tortillas, then they must be wrapped in foil and heated in an oven preheated to 200C for 5 minutes.
  • Drain the juice formed when stewing the chicken, it can be used, for example, for cooking rice. Put the chicken with vegetables in warm tortillas, put a spoonful of yogurt in each, wrap it in a roll and serve two tortillas per serving.
