Ingredients

Flour 100 g
Semolina 100 g
Sugar 100 g
Cocoa 1.5 tbsp. l.
Baking powder 1/2 tsp
Butter 40 gr.
Yogurt 200 gr.
Cherries (frozen or fresh) pitted 100 g
Powdered sugar for decoration

Cooking method

  • 1) Combine flour, semolina, sugar, cocoa and baking powder.
  • 2) Melt the butter and cool a little. Mix with yogurt and add to dry mix. Stir well - you should get a mixture like thick sour cream.
  • 3) Cover the baking dish with cling film. Or use a silicone mold.

  • I have this form "with a hole". Her volume is small, only 500 ml. It fits well in a multicooker in size.
  • 4) Pour in half of the dough, add the cherries (no need to defrost) and cover with the rest of the dough. Cover the top with foil so that condensation from the lid does not drip onto the cake and steam for 35 minutes.
  • 5) Remove the cake from the steamer, cool, remove from the mold and sprinkle with powdered sugar.

The pie is moist in structure, tasty and not at all sweet. Cherry is almost neutral here.

I forgot to close the pie with foil! From above it "got wet" a little, but during cooling it dried up and everything became in order
