Squid Treasure Island (for Zigmund & Shtain MC-DS42IH)

Ingredients

Vegetable oil 4 tbsp. l.
Onion 1 head
Carrot 1 PC.
Bell pepper, red 1 PC.
Fresh champignons 300 gr.
Rice 2 measuring cups
Water 2 measuring cups
Salt taste
Squid 10 pieces.

Cooking method

  • 1. Finely dice the onion.

  • 2. Pour vegetable oil and onions into the bottom of the multicooker bowl. Turn on the "Fry" mode for 20 minutes. Fry the onion for 3 minutes.

  • 3. Cut the carrots into cubes and place over the onion. Cook for another 5 minutes.

  • 4. Cut bell pepper into cubes and add to vegetables. Cook for another 2 minutes.

  • 5. Cut the mushrooms into pieces and put them in the multicooker bowl with the vegetables. Stir occasionally and cook for 10 minutes. During this time, they will slightly decrease in volume. Place vegetables on a plate from the bowl. (You don't need to wash the bowl.)

  • 6. Pour rice into a bowl and cover with cold water. The water will cover the rice by about 1 finger. Turn on the "Groats / Pilaf" mode.

  • 7. At the end of cooking stir the rice, add the previously fried vegetables, salt and stir. Put the resulting filling out of the bowl.

  • 8. Rinse the squid, remove the film and the inner core. Stuff with the filling (3 tablespoons each) and stab with a toothpick.

  • 9. At the bottom of the multicooker bowl, pour cold water (2-3 measuring glasses), put the steaming container and put the stuffed squid (3-4 pcs., Depending on their size) on it. Turn on Steam mode.
