Meatballs in pink sauce

Ingredients

For meatballs:
Minced chicken 600 gr.
Rice 3 tbsp. l.
Bulb onions 100 g
Carrot 100 g
Zucchini 100 g
Egg 1 PC.
Salt, pepper (I have Adyghe salt with paprika) to taste (1 tsp)
For the sauce:
Tomatoes in their own juice 400 gr.
Sour cream 200 gr.
Bulb onions 100 g
Carrot 100 g
Bay leaf 1-2 pcs.
Garlic 2 teeth
Salt, pepper (I have Adyghe salt with paprika) taste
Fresh herbs
Vegetable oil for frying 2 tbsp. l.

Cooking method

  • Peel and wash vegetables for meatballs. Grind in a blender chopper or mince. Combine with minced chicken and egg. Season the minced meat with salt and pepper to taste and knead thoroughly. The minced meat turns out to be quite liquid. Leave it aside for some time.
  • Cooking the sauce: cut the onion and carrots into cubes. Cut the garlic into slices. In vegetable oil in a deep saucepan (or slow cooker), fry the onions and carrots for 5-6 minutes. Add garlic in the process. Then add chopped tomatoes along with juice. Boil for a few minutes. Add sour cream and warm it up. Pour 600-800 ml of hot water (depending on how much sauce you want to get). Season with salt, pepper and bay leaf. Boil the sauce.
  • Form meatballs from the minced meat with a tablespoon and use the same spoon to dip them into the boiling sauce so that they immediately grab. Let it boil and simmer for 40 minutes.
  • Serve with your favorite side dish, sprinkle with sauce and sprinkle with fresh herbs.

Ksyusha, how appetizing are your meatballs, and the photos are like this, and what the name is ..... in pink sauce .... It can be seen that it is very tasty, I would have eaten this without the side dish, there is nothing to it. Just breaking it with bread or with a toast with a fork, I think.

Ksyusha, she promised and did it, not even three years have passed. How delicious it is, though I did not do it with zucchini, but with eggplant and boiled rice - I added the leftovers. The minced meat did not turn out to be watery, but everything turned out great, sooooo tasty. Thanks for the recipe honey!
