Chocolate chickpea sausage

Ingredients

chickpeas (boiled) 100 g
chocolate (dark) 90 g
cocoa 1 tbsp. l
butter 60 g
hazelnut 100 g
cranberries or cherries (dried) 100 g
lemon zest 0.5 pcs
orange zest 0.5 pcs
ground cinnamon 1.5 tsp
honey (you can not add) 0.5 tsp

Cooking method

  • Soak chickpeas in cold water for 12 hours, during this time change the water 2-3 times.
  • Drain the water, boil the chickpeas and peel them off.
  • Chocolate chickpea sausage
  • Fry the nuts and chop coarsely.
  • Add cranberries to the nuts.
  • Peel off half the lemon and half the orange.
  • Melt the chocolate in a water bath.
  • Place the chickpeas, room temperature butter, cocoa, cinnamon in a blender bowl and chop until puree.
  • Add zest, melted chocolate, cranberries and nuts to the obtained chickpea puree.
  • Take any suitable mold, line it with cling film so that it hangs in all directions and pour the mixture into the mixture mold.
  • Smooth, tamp, wrap the film up, press firmly and place in the refrigerator for several hours. You can simply shape a chocolate sausage and wrap it in plastic wrap.
  • After a few hours, remove from the refrigerator and cut into pieces.
  • Keep refrigerated.
