  • So another can with a sweet and sour product appeared. At first, the taste of the onion did not impress me, something went wrong. And I threw a can of onions on the balcony, in the cold. There she stood, forgotten and deprived of my attention, among other blanks.
  • And so, I needed a pickled red onion for a salad. I was about to pickle by the express method, but there was only one red onion in the refrigerator, and it was far from marketable, which went to places that were not so remote. And what to do ???
  • And then I remembered about pickled sweet and sour onions in a jar !!! I went to the balcony for the onion, by touch, I fished one onion out of the jar with my hand, and went to remove the sample.
  • The onions were delicious! Keeps shape, cuts well!
  • And only now I can post a recipe for this sweet and sour onion, using the "candied fruits (glace fruits)" technology.
  • Based on experience already, onions need to be taken in good shape, dense, strong, red inside and out, and which is not going to germinate, sprout inside, and not hollow.
  • The principle of preparation repeats the recipe for sweet and sour plums.
