Good day. I put the ingredients according to the recipe .. The bread is not baked. Mode 1, the main one .. The only thing is that I did not weigh the flour, but filled it with a measuring glass (a little more than a glass from a bread machine). Help .. Really change the bread maker ((

Galina,
It is necessary to describe the problem in more detail. New oven or not? What recipe was used to bake (the exact amount of products. It is advisable to put a photo of the bread outside and inside.

I think you were wrong with anguish. Your oven is good, it forgives minor errors when weighing products.

Mams
Galina, the topic has been discussed many times on the forum. In a measuring glass, flour is not 300 grams, but much less ...

Galina,
It's good that a new oven.

Now let's figure out the recipe. Write your recipe here. And how many glasses of flour did you put in.

I'm embarrassed to ask, but it's very interesting - how did you determine the WEIGHT of flour by the VOLUME of a glass? Or was the recipe not from an instruction book, but some other recipe where flour was measured in glasses? It's just that, according to my amateurish ideas, even the volume of sifted and wholemeal flour from one bag should differ + small variations in dryness / moisture, which affects the weight of different manufacturers ... For me, the problem is mathematically too difficult, although somewhere by the 10th baked I got a knack for sifting the required amount "by eye" relatively accurately (but I still weigh it later). And I very much doubt that replacing the oven will solve this problem (it will rather aggravate it, it is believed that Panasonic "forgives" small bloopers more often than other bread makers). It is better to buy a simple scale - not necessarily super accurate and expensive (you can buy quite acceptable ones for 600-800 re).

Many thanks to Admin for the links! I was not puzzled by this question (since I immediately bought the scales), but in case of the sudden death of the battery, it is very useful information.
If we assume that a Panasonic glass "under the edge" is 350 ml, then according to the proportion it should contain 210 g of wheat flour. It turns out that for a loaf of size M of "regular" bread from Panasonic's instructions, you need 2 glasses minus 20 grams. (remove 2 tablespoons and about 1/4, if there is a maximum of 9 g), in order to get a total of 400 g. It would be necessary to experiment how much the volume of sifted flour differs from wholemeal ... Or just buy a spare battery for the scales

Standard measuring cup for HPam Panasonik sd2500-2512 is equal to 370 ml (fixed).
If you pour flour to the brim, straight from the bag, without sifting, I succeeded 200 grams.

I got that in a measuring glass filled to the brim with 200 grams of flour. Since I bake exactly the size M, now I know how much to measure without weights
Thank you for giving me the idea to measure!

Veronica, you have a scale, measure the flour you are using next time, you will know for sure

I read on another site on the topic of sifting during sifting. So, pouring flour directly from the bag into a glass to the brim and then sifting this flour, we got a difference of 10 ml. Now I checked it with my own flour, there is no difference

A standard measuring cup for Panasonik sd2500-2512 CPam is 360 ml.
Thalia, thanks a lot for the clarification! True, I, as a self-respecting bore, checked it. It turned out that a mistake really crept into the link "how large a measuring glass" - a glass of Panasonic SD2500-SD2511 does not fit 350ml, as it says there, but more !!! In general, I got 365 ml, but I repeatedly wielded a 2 ml syringe (it was no longer at hand, I bought a small one for "topping up" water) and this could introduce an error in the measurements. And with "morning" you need to experiment with the next baking (now too lazy to rush with flour and a sieve last night))).

I actually got 365 ml
Yeah, 5 ml ... something I didn't think of to top it up with measuring spoons. And now I refilled it, total: 370 ml, 375 is already with a slide, but it does not pour out yet, it clings to the edges

I have measuring cups and spoons, but not calibration ones, maybe they also give an error

Considering that this glass holds (I have) 200 grams of flour, probably this volume was chosen specifically to make it convenient. For bread sizes M and XL - beauty in general Simple!

We have already discussed the problem of "how to measure flour" in a glass, and more than once
There is such a concept "under the knife". This means that you need to pour flour into the glass, with a slide, knock it lightly on the table (LIGHTLY!) To slightly compact the flour in the glass, and then cut off all the excess on top of the glass with a kitchen knife - it will turn out just flush with the walls of the glass - this is there is "under the knife".
We give this amount of flour in our table. Number of main ingredients in one measuring cup and measuring spoons

in one measuring cup (240-250 ml.)
Wheat flour - 1 measuring cup equals 150 grams,
Whole wheat flour - 1 measuring cup equals 130 grams,
Rye flour - 1 measuring cup equals 130 grams,

Same thing with a Panasonic cup
Measuring cup (cup) with a volume of 300/350 ml. contains:
- wheat flour 180/210 grams
- rye flour 156/182 grams

All measurements correspond to reality and have been tested in practice for a long time. It should be borne in mind that an increase in flour against these indicators will immediately require an increase in the amount of liquid.
Although, the rule of flour-liquid balance has not been canceled, and this balance depends on the moisture / dryness of the flour Absorption of liquid by various types of flour, cereals, flakes

Today I again measured the volume / weight of flour in a glass. My scales are not very accurate, but it turned out that the volume "under the edge" is about 368 ml., And the weight of flour (Aleika, premium, I think 10.5 protein), taking into account "sift, shake and cut" - 215 The truth is, I poured the flour 2 times (into a narrower container, then into a glass) - maybe it "overcompacted". And I always take 1-2 grams. more flour - otherwise the bun is watery. It turns out that sifted "average" Altai flour for a small loaf needs 2 cups minus about 2.5 tablespoons.

So we use this data, everything is correct!

Same thing with a Panasonic cup
Measuring cup (cup) with a volume of 300/ 350 ml. contains:
- wheat flour 180 /210 gram

And we don’t bother with a few grams here / there.
The difference will be resolved by mixing with flour-liquid balance. How to do it read here:

For those who do not have instructions for HP SD-2511/2510, and the instruction in pdf does not suit the one that is on the Internet (when printed on an A4 printer, it turns out very fine) I can send pages 24 to 34 of the instructions (where only recipes) in jpg format (each page is in a separate file, it turns out very large)
