Dear members of the forum, please advise which bread-making mode is better to use for baking soda bread, which is also called "fast"?

The problem is that, on the one hand, there is a "Fast" mode especially for such bread, and on the other - whole-grain flour, for which there is also a "Whole-grain" mode. What are the pros and cons here?

My recipe is simple: 350 g of a mixture of rye and wheat flour, one and a half cups of kefir with water, st / l of sugar and 1 h / l of salt and soda.

A distinction should be made between whole grain bread with yeast and yeast-free bread with baking powder.

This is a complete whole grain bread, with kneading and two proofing and baking.

Bread on baking powder has a quick kneading and is baked immediately - and has no proofs (like regular yeast bread)
If you knead the dough on a baking powder, and put it in a x / oven, then you can bake it immediately in the CAPE or BAKING mode.
And it is best to bake such bread in the oven.

Thanks for clarifying. It seems that in order to do everything in a bread maker, you need to 1) first knead the dough in the "Dough" mode (see how long this tsik takes to get a uniform dough); 2) and then print in the "Baking" mode (also experiment if one cycle in 30 minutes is enough).

(Thoughts aloud: it is possible that the "Fast" mode, 1 hour 38 minutes, does just these tasks ... you have to try!)

Sergey15, if your HP has a "Cupcake" mode (short / short kneading is important !!! + baking), I highly recommend bread for soda baking !!!

All soda yeast-free breads, including c / s flour, turned out great !!!

Oh, I read the instructions now - Supra BMS-350 does not have a Keks mode
But there are modes Sweet (with the ability to add ingredients) and Pie (kneading, lifting and baking with baking soda or baking powder) and Ultra Fast.
Looks like Pie is the closest thing to Cupcake? (and I get a wheat-rye pie ...)
