Samara-style meat

Ingredients

pork or beef pulp 600 g
pickled or pickled cucumbers 2 pcs. (100 g)
bulb onions 4-5 pcs. (in a purified form - 300 g)
sour cream to taste (I have 350 g sour cream, 25% fat)
vegetable oil (for frying)
salt taste
ground black pepper taste

Cooking method

  • Rinse the meat with water, dry and cut into thin strips. Peel the onions and cut into rings (I have half rings). Cut the cucumbers into strips (I took pickled gherkins - they are softer and easier to cut into strips).
  • Samara-style meat
  • Put chopped onions and meat in a frying pan with heated vegetable oil, fry over high heat, stirring constantly, for 10 minutes.
  • Add chopped cucumbers.

  • Add sour cream, salt, pepper (there was no pepper in the original recipe, but I considered it necessary to add it), mix everything.
  • Samara-style meat
  • Cover the pan with a lid, reduce heat to low and simmer until tender (for pork - 25 minutes, for beef - 40 minutes).
  • Samara-style meat
  • Mashed potatoes are very suitable as a side dish.

Delicious, fast, affordable and doesn't require any special culinary skills. I cooked this pork dish - I really liked it, despite the unusual combination (and very successful) of ingredients.
