Pancakes with liquid yeast

Ingredients

Wheat flour 500 g
Liquid yeast 500 g
Water 500 g
Vegetable oil 2 tbsp. l.
Sugar 3 tbsp. l.
Salt 0.5 tsp

Cooking method

  • I continue to experiment with liquid yeast.
  • Opara
  • Mix flour, water, liquid yeast and 1 tbsp. l. sugar until smooth. Leave on for 12 hours at room temperature.

  • Dough
  • Add 2 tbsp to the dough. l. sugar, 0.5 tsp. salt and 2 tbsp. l. oils. Stir well and fry as usual.
  • It turns out very thin, delicate pancakes. The taste is interesting with fruity notes.

These pancakes have a very different texture than regular pancakes with soda. They are somehow "alive". The dough continues to ferment during the entire cooking process. Pancakes with soda after these seem tasteless.
