Ingredients

Flour / s 500 gr.
Eggs C-1 (medium) 2 pcs.
Egg yolks S-1 2 pcs.
Butter (margarine) 30 gr.
Water 50 gr.
Rum (vodka) 20 gr.
Sugar sand 2 tsp
Jam berries (any)
Cooking fat or cooking oil for frying 100-150 gr.
Powdered sugar about 30 gr.

Cooking method

  • I have long wanted to cook them. A long time ago. But deep-frying stopped me. And then I bought cooking fat at a good price. And the first thing I remembered about the roses.
  • This is my 250th anniversary recipe. I give it to you with great pleasure!

  • Melt the butter (margarine) and cool. Mix eggs and yolks lightly with sugar. Hook the dough in the bowl of the food processor using all the ingredients. You will get a large crumb.

  • I had the dough for longer. At first it seemed to me that there was not enough liquid in the dough. But when it matured, it became more plastic. But it still rolled out tight. I used a dough sheeter and things went quickly.
  • Forming.
  • We prepare three crushers of different sizes. We take into account that the rose is not big - it seems from the photo that it is huge. You need to cut three circles. Large - I have a glass, smaller - a disposable glass, small - a large glass.
  • Roll out the dough 2 mm thick. Cut out the circles and cut with a knife along the edge. We put them one on top of the other. With your thumb, press them tightly twice to one another.

  • Please note that do not bother with re-rolling with scraps. Just then fry them as they are - no worse.
  • Cooking.
  • We heat up the fat (oil) and fry our roses, and then trim them until golden beauty. Put it on a paper towel to drain excess fat.

  • Sprinkle with powdered sugar! Enjoy!
  • Storage.
  • It is best to store brushwood in a saucepan under a lid with a steam hole. Then the brushwood will be delicious for two days. Not in a package at all.
